I would return this if we could. This is a joke. Look through the photos I’ve attached. The fit is AWFUL. It was super tight at his neck, and then really bag in the mid section and then there was all this excess material at the tail. The worst part is- you have to remove the entire thing to go outside!! There is a ‘flap’ you open to reveal a pee hole..... look at the pics to see it. The hole is TINY- soooo small!! Plus it isn’t even anywhere near the right location. It’s all the way up near the chest. We were SO disappointed. We ordered multiple brands to find what worked and I HIGHLY recommend the Suiticle brand surgical recovery suit. It fit him PERFECTLY. Don’t buy this one- it is the biggest waste of money!

this is a update to my previous review. i tried to order another one up one size and none where in stock. my sweet puppy girl got attacked by another dog and had to have 2 surgeries so far to repair the wounds. i needed another suit and i emailed the company that makes them. within 5 minutes i got a email directing me to call them last night. i did and spoke with Matthew from VetMedWear and they were absolutly wonderful to me and found the size i needed and is is shipped this morning! some of the BEST customer service i have ever had! in this day and age of bad customer service i was so happy and thankful to have found this company over all the others. i highly recommened this suit and this company! thank you so much Matthew!!! maybe a pic to follow !!

My girl had stomach surgery with a wound closed with staples. This allowed her to move freely without cone. It protected her wound from scratching and dirt without sticking to it. It is a material like a thick t-shirt which allows her wound air to heal. I got a large for my 40lb mix when the size chart told me I needed XL. I should have followed directions because large it a tad too small. I had to make an adjustment to allow her to pee without touching material, I think the XL would have fit perfectly.

The Medium fit my 8 pound Bichon-poo well and has kept her from irritating her incision from a recent spay. My daughter says she looks like she is late for a jazzercize class. I think one in yellow/black like the Kill Bill suit would be funny. It took her some time to get used to the fabric between her back legs but is used to it now and it keeps her warm.

I works very well, but if you have a male dog You’ll have to remove it every single time you take them outside... we bought the blue one since we have a male dog and that little flap they have so they can pee is not nearly big enough it’s barely bigger than the size of a 50 Cent piece and your dog will Pee all over itself (Believe me I know!! I had high hopes that it was actually gonna work but no we had to have a bath if you get what I mean) so if you got a male you really need to remove the suit before going outside which is a pain the the butt ... And if your dog is anything like mine they don’t like wearing it so they’re not overly cooperative to put it on and off every time they need to go out.. otherwise the suit does it job well

Used for 3 weeks post-op from a side abdomen mass removal. We used the pillow collar to prevent licking and chewing; but, so happy we had the post-op suit! The vet tech actually put thsee on the wrong way day 1 (seriously, read the card about which way it goes on) and we used the more leotard spandex one (different product) some days, and we used t-shirts for another laceration recovery a fee years ago; but they don't compare, these pink 'jammies were everyone's favorite. Zero potty issues, they fit so well though the chest and legs and comfy sweat-shirt style material was great to take the edge off chilly mornings, and discouraged licking on the jammies. She wore these jammies all of the time, with a swap out every 7 days for a wash. The surgery site was clean, dry, not irritated, and infection-free. Our girl was actually a bit anxious when 'jammies time was over, the 3rd week was just to re-aclimate her to getting unzipped and checked out. The zipper start was a bit flimsy and I left the zipper in the "started" position at all times so I wouldn't have to re-align it, but no issues when zipped. We were all very satisfied with the suit and will always think affectionately of the "jammies" we're keeping them for cold days.

I loved this surgical suit. It was great for my puppy after her surgery. It kept her completely distracted from her surgical site and she healed with no problems at all. The openings made it so she could relieve herself and not make me have to put the suit on and off constantly. It is not made for warmth. It is more t-shirt material like. I bought a couple of them so that she would have a change while I was washing the first. Best thing I ever bought for surgical issues.

Flimsy, thin, low quality. The velcro panel is basically cosmetic and just there to trick you into thinking they designed a thoughtful product. They didn't - it is absolutely impossible for a dog to effectively, cleanly go pee or poo while wearing this weird t-shirt tent. It will be soaked and soiled and rub all over your dog even if you try to hold it open while the dog does business. Even without the problem of covering your dog in excrement I don't see how this product could stop an animal from scratching / biting at an area. The material is very low quality, thin and stretchy like a decades old blown-out undershirt. Just buy a comfy cone from the very beginning - don't try this none sense.

Fast delivery. Excellent suit for our dog to protect her from licking her incision after surgery. Cone agggravated incision as the dog tried to lick the wound. Suit fit perfectly. Easy to put on and take off. Easy for dog to to urinate or have bowel movements. Protects dog from opening incision when trying to lick it.Good price. Excellent purchase. Highly recommend to owners whose pets need protection after surgery. Less stress on dogs as cone bothered both our dogs after surgery..

Upon receiving the item it looked small considering I went up a size for my dog. The first time I tried to zip it up it barely went past the first inch (imagine trying to do that on your dog) and then the second time I was showing my husband how to do it the zipper split. I don’t see the point of a zipper as it could just be a pull on. Would not recommend purchasing this item.

Got. This today My puppy had surgery and decided to get this instead of the cone on the head so I got a delivered early was fast delivery but I tried to put it on her and the zipper was stuck so I pulled a little bit and the teeth came off the truck so the zipper at the bottom is not close properly so it’s very cheap material especially the zipper would definitely not pay again

Used this for my puppy after her spay, instead of those horrible plastic cones. Fit well. Stretchy and light. Covered the surgical area well, while dog could still clean herself. Used it day and night, with breaks in between. Dog never seemed to attempt to take it off. Great alternative to cone. Vet sold similar, but not specific to sex. So those you had to unhook for bathroom. This one has anatomically correct openings, so dog can go to bathroom without having to make any adjustments to garment.

Well designed post surgery dog suit. I bought the sm pink for my 11 lb jackchi. The leg and sanitary holes are well placed. It fits her close to the body but not too tight, she has free movement. Just wish more were in stock so I could have bought 2 for after her spaying next week.
