This turned out to be junk, unfortunately as l was limited with time and the job failed losing me 3 days work. Why don't they supply an extension shaft with the same thread as the core drill bits???. It just didn't fit. So you are best to take this advice and don't buy one. It was money down the drain.

The media could not be loaded. This bit, by Effektwerk, is made from robust materials, chrome molybdenum alloy steel with a tungsten steel head. It's actually a thing of beauty to look at, I admire the engineering that has gone into the design.I primarily need this bit to make holes in an interior wall for steel conduit and in an exterior wall for pipe work. The interior wall is not a challenge for any drill bit, it's breeze block. The exterior wall is a tough challenge but the hole is in a tight location which I can't record on video. However, I have a difficult task of breaking-up up some dense concrete (seriously dense!) in our garden, necessary to drill holes to weaken it.As you can see in the video, I have been able to drill straight through 50-60mm dense concrete very quickly (accurate hole diameter obviously not require). The drill bit still looks as good as new. For context, I used a large, heavy duty 6.3kg SDS Plus drill for the job.The design of this bit is impressive, the dust is removed rapidly, there is no snagging and no undue force required. It comes in a tough plastic cylindrical container which is good safety but also the only thing I can criticise - it would be better if it was a box shape to stop the bit rolling away and also make the label easier to read :) Other than that minor detail, this is a superb, high quality drill bit which I expect to last for a long time.
