HALO 4: FORWARD UNTO DAWN Based on the globally renowned Halo® franchise, Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn delivers a dramatic story of heroism and sacrifice. Set against the backdrop of the United Nations Space Command (UNSC) military academy, Cadet Thomas Lasky struggles with doubts about the ongoing war with the outer colonial planets. As he comes to terms with his potential as a military leader, the academy comes under attack from a terrifying alien assault. Lasky must fight to protect the academy and its students alongside an armoured super-soldier known only as the Master Chief. Written by Todd Helbing and Aaron Helbing (Smallville, Spartacus) and directed by Stewart Hendler (H+, Sorority Row), the feature boasts a diverse cast of Hollywood talent and a top-tier production team. HALO: NIGHTFALL Halo: Nightfall introduces a pivotal new character, Jameson Locke, a legendary man-hunter and agent with the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), Earth s most powerful and secretive military branch. When he and his team are caught in a horrific biological attack, they unravel a plot that draws them to an ancient, hellish artefact, where they will be forced to fight for their survival, question everything, and ultimately choose between their loyalties and their lives.

Nightfall is no where near as good as Forward Unto Dawn
Nightfall is about average, no where near as good as Forward Unto Dawn, In my opinion. Nightfall did not create as much of a gripping storyline, atmosphere or intensity, and especially character development and acting, compared to Forward Unto Dawn; causing it to be a bit dull and disengaging, which is disappointing. FUD however is the opposite, it has better acting, drama, and emotion, never mind the fact Master Chief is init ;) Must buy for any Halo fan, and I would recommend it for anyone interested in a reasonable sci-fi drama with a limited budget, at least Halo4: Forward unto Dawn anyway. Also a good buy, for someone interested in buying Halo 5: Guardians for XBox One, which involves both protagonists from both these films.

Halo oh no
Nightfall was watchable but Until dawn saw about 15 mins of it and had enough ,the worst thing is they don't really follow the Halo games ,only in a very vague way

Impressed
Love that this was delivered so quickly, both movies are absolutely brilliant from start to finish the visual affects are outstanding. Wish they would do movies in the halo franchise.

4 beats 5 while both are live.
Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn is by far the better of the two films, Nightfall is not bad but it lacks the menace associated with The Covenant. Definitely worth a watch though.Perhaps the biggest problem here is that there really feels like there ought to be more live action films in the series.

Forward unto dawn works...
Nightfall does not as it buffers and the screen lags every minutedo these discs not get checked before being shipped?Forward unto dawn is a great film, loved how close it resembled the story of Halo and how 117 shows upWould of loved to see Nightfall..

Very disappointing.
After really enjoying the Halo pilot on terrestrial TV I thought I check out these two films. The first is a poor remake of 'Pitch Black' and the second a boring kid's film.Sorry but I expected better.Just got the Blue-ray of series one of the Paramount+ TV series - wow - its fabulous.
