Burgoyne 25 Elegant Hand Crafted Christmas Cards with Matching Self-Seal Envelopes

I have a box for rejected Christmas cards from other sets that I have accumulated over the years. But, I must say that every one of these cards are so beautiful that none of them will go in the box. Each one is comparable to the expensive individual cards at the Hallmark store. I put forever stamps on each one but told my husband to be prepared to pay a little extra in postage when he took them to the post office. The clerk weighed one and said no extra postage needed.

My first year to send out Burgoyne cards -- I was very pleased and excited to find this 25-card pack! I routinely (still) send out some 50+ cards every year at Christmas (holiday) time, and usually end up buying about ten or fifteen boxes of them because, typically, boxed cards have all the same card (w/ the same theme, message, and picture) -- oh my nerves, BORING!!! The Burgoyne cards were all different -- GREAT for quality and variety -- essential points! And they were relatively very reasonably priced! I rated them on an equal par with the 24 home-made Hallmark card assortment I got at the same time! Two BIG TIME drawbacks, though: One, many of the the plastic sheaths cards came in were difficult to get open -- some had easy-zip tear-off tops but others I had to open with scissors (not a fun task when one has arthritic hands). Second problem was that several cards had gold letter messages against red backgrounds or, worse, flat gold lettering against any dark (blue, black, hunter green even silver, etc.) background, which is impossible to read. So, consideration to those two issues is in order. Otherwise, this could possibly be one of the very best values available in my opinion! I definitely will look at them again next year to see the new card selection (and if, I hope, those problems have been addressed). Truly, DWO

Actually, the WIFE loves these. Being able to pick an individual card for everyone you're sending Xmas cards to is great. Religious-themed for your Godbothering relatives, Secular for your friends who know they're celebrating a holiday that was placed in late December to pull followers and power from those who celebrated the Solstice, Beltane, and any other start-of-winter festival that had been practiced for a thousand years or so. Anyway, these cards are beautiful and you can find one for just about any one you are sending cards to. And they're WAY less than buying individual cards at a retail card store. Heck, they're cheaper than the store with the tree that sells everything for a buck.One warning: weight your cards before posting them. Many are over an ounce due to the embellishments, so you need more postage than a single stamp.

I absolutely loved these Christmas cards and would purchase a new set again! I hope this company comes out with new designs each year. The cards were wonderful and elicited positive comments from the people who received them. HOWEVER, a note must be made---you do have to pay extra postage on these cards to mail, as they are dimensional and need to be hand canceled at the Post Office to keep the cards and envelopes from being ripped apart by the postal equipment. I recommend them if you are looking for something different and don't have the time or talent to make cards on your own.

I love these collections. Such quality and so much fun deciding who gets which card as each handcrafted card is different. They may seem expensive but, for me, they are enough to last for two holiday periods (as they are each different, you can do this without sending out the same came the following year) - so, overall, the price works out well.

These are the most beautiful cards I have ever ordered. Basically they were less than a dollar apiece. Absolutely gorgeous. I'm ordering my second box for next year . Love these cards definitely order them they're individually wrapped and they are beautiful . Carol Lehman

Very nice cards. Happy to be sending them out. Be aware they require extra postage due to their being raised not flat.
