OXO Good Grips Beak Ice Cream Scoop

Love this scoop - it works really well. The nose cuts through even quite hard icecream and the little lever pushes out the icecream effectively. Because it's aluminium it does have to be washed by hand, but I don't mind this at all given that it gets the job done far better than my previous scoop. Robust, well designed as I would expect from Oxo - I would recommend it!

Great product. Well made and very sturdy which makes it ideal for home made ice cream which tends to be more solid than shop bought. Easy to use especially if like me you have arthritic hands. Hand washes easily after use. would recommend this to anyone.

Works well. Very solid.A WARNING though!:Do not even wave it in the general direction of a dishwasher. This purchase was a replacement for another one (of the same) that accidentally crept into the dishwasher. It doesn't just tarnish them it materially destroys the metal finish.

You need to hand wash these or the finish comes off and starts to leave grey streaks in the ice cream - but it’s strong and comfortable to hold, makes great ice cream balls. At £12 it feels a little over-priced. 😁

This scoop works well. BUT if you put it in a dishwasher (as I did by mistake) the item goes black, discolours everything it touches, and is unusable. That's all it takes, one mistake. Not worth having it, because someone will pop it in a dishwasher.

It is the best ice cream scoop I ever owned. It is easy to use and got a strong construction. All family use it with a pleasure and without any struggles what we had by using other style ice cream scoops.

This was a replacement for an item previously owned, but put in the dishwasher which took the surface off it. It's a shame it's not dishwasher safe as otherwise it's brilliant!

Good scooper, solid. Annoying that it can't go in the dishwasher though.
