These great little cards were issued in packets of 50 by The Sun newspaper in the early 1970s, there was 1000 in the set. To get them you had to collect tokens from the paper and send these off with a small payment. They are the size of traditional cigarette cards (approx 65mm x 35mm) and are a great collectable. The front shows a hand drawn colour picture of the featured player and the back has a short summary of his career.
