Q: What are the exact differences between the bissell proheat 2x revolution and the bissell proheat 2x revolution pet pro?

The pet pro version may well come with extra cleaning tools but for me the biggest difference is access to the roller section for cleaning. This isn’t made clear as all the videos seem to show the pet pro version were the roller covers are removed via 2 snap in parts, the revolution 2x has one snap in cover and the second one underneath is fixed resulting in the cleaning process becoming very tedious, it’s not practical at all if you’re cleaning wool mats, etc. It was bad enough that I’ve returned the revolution 2x and plan to purchase the pet pro version. A bit disappointing as all the marketing gumph doesn’t really highlight this. Produces great results though.

Q: How stiff are the bristles? I've borrowed an old vax and the bristles are too soft to get deep into the carpet.

All I can say is that, having used a Vax machine previously, I am very much more impressed with this machine. It brought my cream rug back to the way it was intended and is much easier to clean.
