Very simple to set up. and get running.
Great little kit. It has everything you need to get started, except, a monitor, keyboard and mouse of course, so I guess it has most of what you need. Mine went together easily enough. I used an SD card I already bought, so I haven't used the one that came with the kit yet - but I will as it is also Class 10. Followed the instructions attaching the cables and it booted right up. It took me longer to unpack than it took to get it put together. This is my first RPi and it was good to just start with what I needed.Only negative is that the documentation doesn't mention the heat sinks. I put them on after the RPi was in the case, in case it made it harder to get it assembled. I didn't know what direction to put them (horizontally or vertically), so I looked at a few YouTube videos for RPi stuff, and saw both directions being used, so I'm guessing that it doesn't matter all that much.

Makes a nice little media server
Wonderful little box! I was given one for Christmas and had it assembled and running in a few minutes. The only problem I had was getting Raspian (the Pi's Linux) installed with the installer that came with the machine because all the servers were getting hammered around Christmas. I finally resorted to downloading a disk image and writing it to the SIM with a Mac.Right now the machine is on my home network used as a video/music/photo server. It's reliable and very capable. It has replaced an older Linux tower formerly used for that purpose.

Nice kit, worth the money.
Nice kit - everything you need to setup a R PI! The SD card already has the OS loader NOOBS on it, this allows you to choose several different OSs to install on it. For most beginners it would be Raspbian, so just assemble, attach your KB, mouse and HDMI to the TV and turn it on and walk through the OS setup. The things you need beyond this is a TV with an open HDMI port and USB keyboard and mouse. There are a couple of stickers with notes about the SD card, since it's partitioned so that the OS loader NOOBS can be used - and most Windows versions can't see multiple partitions on a removable device - if you stick the card in a PC it looks like it's largely unused. The stickers mention that rest of the card can be expanded. Just ignore this, when you install the OS of your choice it typically takes all the rest of the card.Nicely packaged too. Instructions are good.

Great kit. Everything you need to build a Pi ...
Great kit. Everything you need to build a Pi kit and get it up and running quickly. They make it so easy you don't even have to go download anything to put onto the 32 gig SD card. Just put it all together and it's ready to go.The only thing that would make this kit better is a fan and a case that will accept a fan.I bought a PiFan: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M16KDEG/I did have to drill some small holes into the top of the case, but once it was mounted it dropped the Pi 3 temp by 40F.

Easy to setup
Arrived on time and was easy to get started making an EmulationStation for the family. The 2 Pack SNES Retro USB Super Nintendo Controller Gamepad Joystick, USB PC Super Classic Controller Joypad Gamestick for Windows PC MAC Linux Raspberry Pi 3 Steam Sega Genesis Higan Grey/Purple worked great for completing the feel, much like playing SNES in the basement as a kid. I opted out of buying a bulky looking case as it needed to fit inside a tiny little nook above the other stuff.I'll be ordering another one for the project I originally intended to do int he first place.

Another great RaspPi kit!
This is my 4th pi. I love that these things are cheap and easy to program. Once you have one set up with your OS and passwords and networking, just clone the SD card and you have a second one ready to go. I have one for my Christmas light display, one for tinkering with, an old version 2, and my newest one is slated to be a network attached storage for music and movies. The CanaKit is a great kit, it comes with everything you need. I've only had one bad Pi, and they replaced it very quickly.

Easy to setup and use!
Purchased this originally for use with a DV4mini for ham radio DMR usage. It has worked great for this purpose. Went together quickly and easily. Nice case for the Raspberry Pi 3..AC adapter is a good adapter with plenty of current. Micro card to USB adapter helped in getting the system going. I have since converted the case to handle the addition of an MMDVM Top Hat and the system is again working great! Image shows the original setup with the DV4mini running on a USB port.

The kid itself is fine but I'm personally disappointed with Raspberry Pi
I bought this Raspberry Pi kit with the plan to use it like a Mini PC. That may be doable for some but I was not happy with the performance. I also could not get Netflix to work on it which was pretty frustrating. The kit itself arrived quickly and contained all needed components. Since it didn't work very well for a Mini PC I decided to run emulation station and that works well. I feel overall this kit was a pretty good value and I would recommend it to a friend who wanted to use it for game emulation.
