WORKS REALLY WELL FOR COLOUR PENCILS!!
Ahhhh this has got to be my favourite sketchbook I've purchased. It works really well with colour pencils!! You can easily draw on both sides of the page too without the pencils being seen on the other side and without warping the page. The pages don't really have too much texture on them, so that might be a turn off for some, but it didn't really matter to me!The sketchbook is also a hardcover. It has a really interesting texture to it, which feels really nice. I haven't tried painting on the cover, so idk how well artworks on the cover would turn out.The binding is very strong too, so I have no worries about any pages falling out. However since it is binded with thread, you can't tear out a page without making a mess of your sketchbook, so keep that in mind!Anyways that's enough rambling, if you want to get this sketchbook for colour pencils and normal sketching, I highly recommend it!! Imo this sketchbook is best for hobbyists and beginners!I'll be trying out gouache in this sketchbook too, so I'll update the review when I do.

Great sketchbook
I bought this sketchbook to use on travels. It’s the perfect size. I’ve started putting watercolours on the outside cover and they have taken fine. Then I tried homemade blackberry ink for the background with bleach to write the word ‘Paris’ and nothing came through to the next page. I definitely think it’s well made, the cover is sturdy and it’s considerably cheaper than others. Very pleased with this sketchbook.

Good quality
This was a present for my daughter who is studying A level art. It was just what she wanted and good quality. It was however damaged so I returned it but will definitely be ordering a replacement

I was blown away by the quality
I bought this with the expectation that I would turn it into just a rough sketchbook, but the quality really surprised me. It's so well made! The paper is nice and thick - no problems with bleeding inks or ink transferring to the other side of the paper - and pages even manage to hold a fair amount of watercolour paint/ ink without buckling too badly (of course, the paper buckled a little bit, but the pages still hold together and don't bulk out). I'm probably going to buy myself more of these in the future. I even prefer it to my moleskine!

This is great paper
Great paper for practice or portfolio watercolour. I wanted a sturdy pad for my watercolour practice. Great for keeping practice pieces together ( pages don’t come out. I’ve tried it with watercolour pens and paint and doesn’t bleed through; I would suggest using a card block behind your page if you are using a lot of water 🥰

Fantastic sketchbook
Really good quality paper in this sketchbook, it's like a lighter weight mixed media paper. It can take gouache, watercolour and marker/fineliner pens. It does buckle with the water which is expected, the only thing that has come through a bit so far is alcohol based markers like sharpies/promarkers. I have just covered with gouache on the other side as a base colour which suits me fine and means I can use both sides of the paper. Nicely put together with a good hard cover. Will buy again.

Gorgeous!
I wasn't sure what i was going to get as some 'eco' pads aren't so fit for purpose. These are FAB! Very good quality paper, and i love the covers too. I bought two sizes, so i'm pleased with both! Thank you for supporting our art and our earth!
