Excellent pedal!
I can't praise the pedal enough having learnt to play guitar in the 80's all my influences are 70's & 80's guys eddie vanhalen, George lynch, Jake e Lee, Warren demartini etc I can pretty much nail the tones of those guys with this beast of a pedal if your after metal tones this probably isn't for you but it's perfect heavy rock/classic rock tones, it handles single coils effortlessly & the tone & presence feature means you can dial in some excellent sounds π

Amazing little pedal.
Awesome little pedal for the money. You can get some great tones from this unit. My only slight gripe and it's purely personal and easily rectified is that the bass end is a little light for my tastes. You can't really go wrong with this unit, solidly constructed and great tones in many varieties. Only other very slight draw back is obviously given the size it's power supply only.

Don't but the 'Tone City Golden Plexi' until you've heard this
Fantastic little pedal, years ahead of the Tone City 'Golden Plexi', which is a one trick pony in my experience. The Golden Brownie gives a broad variation of tones from mild breakup to full on Van Halen. The only thing worth mentioning is that it bears a striking resemblance to my EHX OD Glove at certain levels. Other than that it gives meaty, throaty crunch and distortion, amply aided by the presence control. For the money you can't go wrong (imho)
