Not as good as I was hoping for
I feel I've wasted my money. I'm persevering but the pans are difficult to work with. They store in a small space but that seems the only advantage. I'm wishing I'd gone for pans with fixed handles. I'm finding that everytime I 'un-clip' and 'clip on' the handle it slightly 'chips' the pan. I am trying my best to be careful because I like to keep my pans pristine. It's really frustrating. My last set of pans was from Tefal and I loved them and they looked really good for their age. The other problem is draining veg etc. I use the lid because there's a drainage hole but it's positioned opposite the handle. You have to put the lid on a certain way so that the handle sits in the gap made for it on the lid, but the other gap is straight across which means it's really awkward to tip out the water. The drainage gap would have been better on the side.

Steamer cant be used as a steamer as all the included lids are too small.
I love the idea and love the pans themselves, but the steamer in this 13pc set is totally pointless as cannot be used. The 24cm steamer fits on the top of 24cm pan fine, but as the top of the steamer is larger you cannot use the 24cm lid. The steamer is designed to be used with a 26cm lid, unfortunately that is not included in the kit, and cannot even be purchased separately. The Tefal product pictures show the steamer in use with a lid on it, and even on the box it shows a picture of the steamer with a lid on it. It looks like no one at Tefal actually tried to use the bits in the box together. Don't choose this set for the included steamer, you are better off buying another more basic igneio set, and purchasing the steamer separately as it then comes supplied with a 26cm lid that fits it!

Great idea, but scratches far too easily
I love the idea for these saucepans. We have the frying pans from the same range and are perfectly happy with them. Being able to store them all so compactly is fantastic.BUT.These are the most easily scratched non-stick pans I've ever had. We returned the first two that were delivered because just the pans shifting in transport had scratched each other's coating. We finally accepted the third replacement but are now returning them because they are so scratched in less than 6 months - despite only using wooden and silicone utensils, nothing metal. And we store them with felt protector pads in between them.

Saucepans are light weight and hard wearing.
Lovely lovely light weight saucepans, good quality and it’s good practical space in the storage.

Downgrading my review
I love to make crustless quiches but it was so difficult to get it to set right through without being able to put it in the oven. Now I can make the perfect quiche, which I do several times a week. These pans are very good quality, with an excellent non-stick surface - so far the best non-stick of any pans I've had.My recipe (which serves 2 - 3: One large onion, chopped finely (I use a Ninja Professional food chopper Ninja Professional Chopper from Amazon (my FAVOURITE piece of kitchen equipment of all time - use it every day without fail)..... as I was saying, one large onion, one bag of spinach, about 1/2 pack of feta, 3 eggs, a good splurge of double or single cream, salt and black pepper. Fry onion very gently until soft - the longer the better without burning as it makes it lovely and sweet. Wilt the spinach with only a little water. Drain once wilted. Turn on oven to 180 degrees (fan oven). In a large bowl beat the eggs, cream, salt and pepper with a fork. Add in crumbled feta cheese. Finely chop the drained spinach and add to the mix. Finally add the softened onions. A little butter into the bottom of the smaller of these two pans, pour in the mix, and turn the heat down to low. Cook gently until you can see the sides have gone a golden brown (just lift away with a spatula to check). Then pop the pan into the oven and remove the handle. Cook for about 15 minutes (check cooked by gently pressing the middle with your finger). Turn out onto a plate and eat warm or cold - delicious either way! Can alter this recipe with asparagus or fried courgettes instead of spinach, but to me spinach is the best!11.9.20 I am downgrading my review for two reasons. The first is, like other reviewers, I have realised that the thermo-spot in the middle of the pan does not ever turn red. I have to wonder if these are seconds, particularly because of the price compared to Tefal products on their own site. I wouldn't mind if they were seconds, providing it is clearly stated. Secondly, I have a gas cooker and I find these pans slip around really badly on on the pan supports. This is actually very dangerous - the small pan in particular is badly balanced when the handle is attached, and it often slips right off the gas ring - it is quite hard to keep it on. If I had an electric cooker I'm guessing this wouldn't be a problem, but none of my saucepans or other frying pans slide around like this.Having said all this, I still like them for cooking, particularly because they can go into the oven with the handle off.

... pans to use but outside of pans scratch very easily. Also
Lovely set of pans to use but outside of pans scratch very easily. Also, would benefit from having a dedicated area to attach handles as the rims are starting to show signs of wear.

great item - just be careful of the sizes before purchasing.
great idea. great quality. just be careful about the size of the pots. i bought this and realized they were way too small for a family of 3 (even the biggest one) so returned it. rather pay more and get the bigger sized ones individually.

Fab Idea
This really is ingenious. I love everything about this set. Only criticism is that the handle chips the enamel ( or whatever) on the rim of the pots. Otherwise the detachable handle is fab. Makes the pans easy to store and easy to cook with.
