Dr. MartensMen's Amphibians Combat Boot

I absolutely adore these boots. I bought a woman's 9 off of the doc martens website initially but I was swimming in them (I'm usually a 9 in almost every shoe) I returned them and ordered an 8 off of here and they fit quite well. I only wish they were slightly wider. I wore them for an 8 hour shift where I stand and walk all day, and my feet def were feeling it. The soft leather helps, but in my opinion there is still a break in period. I conditioned them inside and out with leather oil and let me tell you, don't skip that step if you have any discomfort. They feel perfect now. I will update once I wear them for an extended period of time since conditioning.

I purchased these after also owning the smooth leather Jadon in oxblood and Jadon HI’s in smooth leather. Both pairs tortured my feet to break in, but these have been extremely comfortable right out the box because of the Pisa leather. I also love the more natural look of them.

God, these things have taken so much breaking in, and still eat up my heels, but we're getting there. I knew it was a time investment!Very solid stitching and construction in general, true to size, and absolutely make you wish a ***** would. You do feel like you could kick some booty in them (and do some damage, those soles are heavy!) I really like the look of them on, and do not regret this purchase-- The last try before you buy, before they axed the program! Boo!

I ordered they were delivered, exactly what I ordered. No damage, it was good.

Received my super cute boots only to find both insoles of them were cut and ripped out? Not cool! Going to return.

Definitely happy to have bought these the soft leather on these is so comfy and has no break in time, even after walking and standing in them all day no feet pain, zipper allows for quick on and off. I chose these not just for the comfortably of the leather but not really into shiny boots like in the original Jadon platform. Great addition to the wardrobes, i’ve always loved docs shoes but these are by far my favorite. I’m a 10.5 usually but got a 10 since i know they run large a bit roomy but not loose perfect size for me.

Of course I love them. They look cute, obviously. The platforms are amazing. I didn’t want the zipper at first but now that I have it I’m pretty thankful. Easy to get on and off and hasn’t started to Gray the way zippers tend to do on leather/fabric. Fits as expected. I wear them to work (restaurant) and get home to feet that surprisingly don’t hurt. I didn’t even need insoles for these even though, as a DM wearer, you NEED insoles usually. They’re a hefty pair! Love them and wear them a little too much
