Great knives for a decent price… makes cooking enjoyable

I wanted to get a knife set (with block and the works!) that was sleek, modern, and lovely looking. I came across this set; it caught my eye due to the lovely block and the awesome pattern on the knife handles. This is going to be a wedding gift so I wanted something unique, timeless, and high-quality; it doesn't disappoint!

Just amazing. Clean look and knives are sharp.

It's not even been a month and these knives are rusting.UPDATE: The company reached out and shipped me a new set. Between the 2x sets, I should be able to replace the rusted ones as they occur and hopefully extend the life of this product for us.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this as I needed a new knife set. I’m 38 and have gone through phases of not wanting a knife block and trying to find other solutions but they haven’t worked so I came back to a block. This set looks soooo good on my counter. The sharpener and scissors are a game changer. So far they’ve been cutting well :)

If I could give 4.5 stars, I would. I liked my first set so much, I bought a second. Possibly a 5-star review is warranted. I have had the opportunity to use high-priced knives and have to admit these were more comfortable to use. Friends who have used them to help chop vegetables or cut meat have similar comments as I, the blades are well-balanced and weighted, the handles fit nicely inside a medium-to-large sized slightly arthritic hand, and the ability to clean in the dishwasher is a plus. My only criticism is the steak knives have serrated edges, which they are admittedly advertised as having. I enjoy slicing through meat and not sawing through it, but the steak knives also perform well. The sharpener is a nice touch and enables a quick edge treatment after cleaning them. I think I have now used every knife in the set for its intended purpose and look forward to using them for years to come. If the steak knives weren’t serrated, I would give the set 5.5 stars - but that’s my preference, not a faulty blade.
