Does anyone know what the small velcro patch on the bottom of this is for please?

The velcro patch is used for back combing the braid once the insulation has been stripped off. You can of course do this by hand also but doing with the velcro strip does a neater job

Could this be used to remove the outer insulation of 3 core mains cable or the insulation from the 3 inner cores?

Designed for coax and data cables, but probably work with smaller round 3 core flex. Probably no to 1.5mm2 3core

Will it cut the two different depths for a sky twin cable connection
