Handmade Whipped Tallow Balm (Unscented/Herb-Infused) - Organic Body Butter with Infused Olive Oil, for Eczema, Rosacea, Baby - 1.3 oz

After having a flawless complexion my entire life, I suddenly started suffering devastating breakouts at age 55. Eight years and five dermatologists later, I'm finally seeing some improvement and I believe H&H tallow balm is a big part of that. I'd never heard of tallow balm but started to read about it after a friend suggested I give it a try. Many reviewers said it reduced inflammation and gently healed their skin when other products had failed. My understanding is the tallow helps to restore the skin barrier which can sometimes become damaged by harsh face products, sun exposure, over exfoliating, etc. I researched a LOT of tallow balm before deciding on H&H. I chose H&H because the products are made in the U.S. and with simple ingredients. That said, every formula is different so read the labels! The balm my friend recommended (another company) had sandalwood in it and I'm allergic so that would have been a real disaster on my face. I went with the H&H herb-infused because it has only four ingredients and is fragrance free. I used it every evening for about two weeks until I started to see results. This tallow balm definitely calmed and soothed my skin, which in turn made it much less red and painful. Within a month, my skin showed significant improvement and has continued to improve. Full disclosure, my dermatologist started me on a new topical medication just about the time I started using the tallow. I believe the medication is helping to control the breakouts but I also believe the tallow balm is healing my skin. It's whipped so the consistency is light and fluffy and you don't need a lot. It absorbs nicely but not enough to wear makeup so I only use it at night. I can layer my medication over the balm which is a bonus! I'm just finishing my first jar of H&H tallow balm and am about to purchase another. I wanted to post this review because this product has really been a little miracle for my ailing skin.

I am not one to ever write a review on Amazon... I have been on the verge of buying tallow for a while now because I have very sensitive skin and occasionally break out. My breakouts usually come from a change of environment or stress (similar to most). One of my friends had just purchased a tallow from a local farmers market, so she had let me try it, and oh my, I was hooked. I immediately turned to Amazon to do some further research on which one would best suit me. I am so lucky that my first purchase was Hearth and Homestead. I love being able to support a small and sustainable business on such a large platform, but the texture, smell, and consistency are amazing. I have used it for two nights now and have not broken out, red marks have significantly diminished, my skin is glowing like never before, and I even spread it on my lips, leaving them soft and supple. I will be recommending this product to everyone I know. This was the best purchase I have made for my skincare routine thus far. To preface, I am very minimalist when it comes to skincare. I usually spot treat acne with benzoyl peroxide, but my skin suffers from being too dry and flaky if I overuse it.

Please show me how I can invest in your company!!! I had never heard the term "Beef tallow" in my life until I typed the words " whipped face cream" into the search bar, and your product popped up! Thankfully, it was you and not other ceazy stuff that could've popped up with that search, lol. Anyways, after i read the reviews, I was ready to give it a try. I received my order very fast! I opened it right up and was very eager to try it! I remembered reading several reviewers saying "a little truly does go a long way", so I just barely dipped the tip of my finger over the top of that fluffy surface and swiped it onto my face to feel how greasy it was...and wow! I was expecting either my finger to slip fast=too greasy, or to feel nothing, since I didn't swipe my finger too heavily into the product. But, what I felt was almost as if I swiped a piece of silk or satin across my face. I had to do it again to make sure of what I just felt. This cream, is the smoothest, non-greasy, most-replenishing, natural product that you can use on your skin AND beyond! So, after I saw what miracles were just performed on my face, which as a side-note, I used both hands to gently, but deeply massage my face with this stuff...because the cream naturally warms up, from your own body temperature and it heals deeply as you massage with it. I was so excited that I began to rub it slowly and deeply into my arms, my elbows, my legs, my knees, my lower back, to my feet. Everywhere! I have severe dry skin, especially on my lower legs. After massaging my legs with this rejuvenating cream, there was absolutely NO dry skin and my skin was PERFECTLY hydrated. A true miracle product! I've suffered with severe back, neck, knee and joint pain for my entire life. These days lately, the arthritis that I have throughout my body is debilitating. While I was rubbing these areas, I could feel that beautiful, natural heat building and a HUGE pain relief. This is huge! You are HUGE! Once people use this as a muscle rub, they won't use any of that other stuff anymore!!! I am walking proof! Since I've used your product, the pain from my arthritis and my many other back and neck problems is way more manageable. I can rebound faster after laying in bed all night to an upright person who can get around in the morning. I have been using it twice a day so far and I've never felt happier and full of hope for pain relief!
