Amazing product, hair left in good condition
After a visit to the hair salon, I found the root colour to be too dark/black. Weeks of washing didn’t fade it. I brought this from Amazon and it restored the warm chocolate highlights back to my hair and took away the cool dark hues. Very pleased. The product smells awful but it was worth it! My hair was in good condition afterwards not too dry.

AVOID
I used it the day it came and didn’t do nothing to the colour and ever since I’ve washed my hair every day to try get the stench out it’s like if when the hair is wet it stinks of rotten chicken. Worse product I’ve ever come across. Shouldn’t even be on the shelf to be able to buy. Stay away from it. Disgusting and a waste of money. Avoid

Better than I'd hoped!
I was a bit trepidatious about using this but had to try something as I needed to remove the dark purple colour I had put on my dark blonde with grey hair. I had also built up quite a few layers of other colours underneath. It's not difficult to use but it is a bit of a faff. (To be fair that is probably true of colour removers in general!) It recommends reading the instructions twice before you start and I would definitely echo that. The main stuff is a bit smelly but not at all unbearable (and I am very sensitive to smells) but the other lotions and potions smell quite pleasant. One thing that was surprising was that when I washed off the colour remover part I expected the water to run quite murky but it was totally clear. Slight panic at that point in case it hadn't worked! When the moment of truth arrived at the end of the process I was actually amazed - there was no sign of the purple or other colours left in my hair. It was totally back to normal, albeit an awful lot greyer than I remembered! This wasn't as expensive as some of the colour removers but it seems to have worked really well and the smell isn't too bad. I would definitely buy it again.

Not perfect but pretty fantastic stuff
The good,..This is much better than going to a hairdresser and being charged hundreds of pounds for a 'colour correction' while still taking the risk of having hair wrecked forever by them using damaging bleach and the chance of a patchy result anyway. ( This already happened to me before when I went to the uber posh Richard Ward salon in Chelsea where for removing black dye badly they charged me £600,the bleach damaged my hair so i had to cut it short and i walked out looking horrendous with a rubbish short haircut ,bleached white roots and bright orange ends!).This wonder stuff took off all of the blue black hair dye ( castings and herbal semi permanent )and if you use the clingfilm method it works extra fast.It took about 20 minutes to get to where I wanted it to land. It really doesn't smell too terrible ,i've tried others and they are truly gross, and is nowhere near as stinky or complicated to use as any of the competitors . There is only one step ,only 5 minutes rinsing and the result for me is not bad at all .I have now got the black lifted to a pretty decent looking mid brown ,that is a little patchy but not embarrassing .I'm doing one more pass to get the ends lighter because bits still a little darker in mid shafts and ends in one small area where the hair is more porous .The best thing about it is that it hasn't ravaged the condition of my hair, which feels and looks fine..The frustrating.. You have to practice patience.I really wish I could colour or tone immediately but it is not advised, otherwise removed black dye will re oxidise as soon as any level of peroxide colour is used so you must wait for 7 days and wash several times before any toning it recolouring although you can use a peroxide-free semi permanent . I have no patience but I'm also a serial hair harmer so it's good discipline for me to leave my poor hair alone for a few days before I try to perfect it . All in all , I think this is pretty good considering that it's not difficult to use ,doesn't stink too badly, costs only £5,and you get a lot of product for your money.Update I did one more pass and rubbed the ends where the black had taken darker , I left it on for another 15 minutes ,used clingfilm , and it's it looks dare I say it, good.
