Some ski socks are thick and bulky to achieve the insulation you need, but these aren't like that. I recently bought new ski boots and my ski boot fitter said to buy thinner, higher quality merino wool socks for better control and feedback with both the boot and ski and these fit the bill perfectly. They have one of the highest percentages of merino wool I could find in a ski socks and are superbly made, thin, warm and comfortable. On warm days your feet stay comfortable and on cold ski days my feet were toasty. Without doubt, the best ski sock I've ever come across for your money!

Very pleasantly surprised by these socks. Right from the start they impressed. They were packaged in a paper bag, which is great for the environment, and the socks themselves came in a net, so that they could be washed without fussle going everywhere - brilliant! They are a good looking sock, with a great length and stretch to them. We wore them for skiiing and they were very comfortable. They appear to be very hard wearing too and despite having them on all day, they did not smell. Compared to similar socks of the same quality, these socks are an absolute steal at £8 a pair.

I have been walking for many years and have purchased winter walking sock previously, namely Danish Endurance, very good but somewhat expensive. I thought I'd try these, never purchased ski socks before but what a good idea it as turned out to be. Been out in the snow (two days) this last weekend and some very cold frosty mornings and they have kept my feet warm and toasty and half the price of my previous socks They sit just under my knee when worn and keep my upper calf's warm as well (good idea). Merino wool as well just adds to the quality. A five all round.

Bought two pairs for skiing about a year ago - they are very good (warm, hard wearing) so I've bought another two pairs for general use / walking. Very pleased with them.

The socks seem great but they are definitely not a 7-11. I'm a 7 and they were tight on me

Arrived despite an Amazon drivers strange delivery methods. The socks where nicely packed with a special washing pouch, which was an unexpected surprise. The aocks themselves look good quality, plenty of stretch and fit great. Too early to say how well they perform in a ski boat but not dissimilar to me much more expensive Smartwool pair, but leas than half the price.

They are thick, warm & very comfortable.Sadly my skiing days are behind me, but for going to the shops on a chilly morning, or an afternoon stroll in the freezing countryside for a cigar, they’re exactly what I hoped they would be.Love ‘em!
