Lovely whisky for the price
Got on a discount to £32 and it was fantastic for that price point. Smooth, not too strong on the alcohol with nice flavours and aromas of honey, heather & peat

Initially lovely, but better can be found.
Before I write my usual pros, neutrals, and cons, I though I should at least give you some perspective on my whiskey experience. I've had Scottish, Germanic, and Japanese whiskey's, over the years. Though, this is the first time I've had something from Highland Park, a rather popular brand. Just about everywhere I look I see positive thoughts, so the stage was set for my purchase and my new drink. Along with this review, I'm attaching several images of the product for you to take a look at.Pros:Pretty bottle and packaging - The overall presentation of everything you get is lovely, it comes in a rather classy black and gold design, with a reflective finish on some of the text and logo. The presentation is carried over on the bottle, but more kept under check to show off the whiskey inside. The smell - The smell is powerful, and fills up the room rather nicely. I find I get some vanilla, smoke, and some orange in the nose.Neutrals:The taste - The whiskey is rather nice, with hints of oak, smoke, and a blend of spice and sweetness on the tongue. So why is it in the neutrals? The reason being, the after taste. The hints of oak and smoke dissipates and leaves a rather metallic feel in the throat. This is rather disapointing considering the initial taste on the tongue was actually rather nice.Cons:The bottle design - The bottle, as mentioned above, is rather nice to the eye. The downside to the design however is, when pouring, you do get some spillage down the neck. It's not major, but as this is so nice I'd hate to waste any. Conclusion:Some call this a masterpiece, and until the metallic nature of the drink came through I would've agreed. It's a taste found on cheaper whiskies, bad blends, and overall drinks I would suggest avoiding. So I'm stuck, to some degree I like what I have, but at the same time I know I could find better. For £25, or maybe £30 it's worth getting, but if you've got a bit more cash on hand I'd look for another bottle. Overall, not a great first impression of a rather respected brand.

Highland park whiskey
Bought for a present. He said that the whiskey has a sharp taste. Goes down well, smooth. With a smokiness taste as well. The price was good as well, would buy it again for him
