After being gifted a new flat screen TV, I was no longer able to connect my Wii system. This adapter is the perfect thing and was plugged in and ready to go in 2 minutes. It was also less than half the price of another one with multiple cables that wouldn't even give me a signal

Works great. Connects to the Wii AV port just fine and allows you to enable 480p. For the record, I'm not using the included HDMI cable. I didn't even try it, honestly. I prefer it to those blocks you stick on the back due to the added flexibility.

It works fine. Had to get this one since the other one I had was too deep for the shelf I had it on. This one has the same picture quality.When I was setting it up, I was afraid it was forcing 4:3 as some reviews have mentioned, but turns out I just needed to tweak my TV’s settings to set the aspect ratio to Widescreen mode in order for it to be 16:9. Your mileage may vary depending on your TV’s picture settings. The signal being output to the TV is 480p, as with most other adapters on the market.

If you have a tv that doesn’t have the connection for the older wii. This will do the job. Color looks better on this than on the original wii cable. Picture quality is great, easy to install and no issue with sound or quality of video.

Very good hdmi adapter for the Wii and has perfect quality just like the original Wii and even has better color at some points too!

died out after less than a year. worked well when it did work but i didn't even use it often and it still died out just from being plugged in. shows no picture even after trying multiple HDMI cables meanwhile the stock composite cables that came with the wii originally still work
