This is adorable. My son needs to dress up as a favorite book character for school. He's going to be the Pigeon from the book The Duckling Gets a Cookie and Pigeon Needs a Bath (super fun kids books if youre not farmiliar) anyway creating a piceon costume from scratch is a little above my pay grade - this is actually an eagle, but for Kindergarten book week purposes, its perfect. He needs a costume he can wear over his uniform and get into and out of on his own. I couldnt have made a better costume and Im certain it would have cost me more to try. Very happy with this purchase

The wings are so thin you can barely see the pattern. Certainly not as dark as advertised. Was intended to be photographed, but you can’t even see what it’s supposed to be. The mask is as expected though.

So my son (almost 5 years old, in 2 weeks!) was very excited to be an owl for a Halloween party at our local bird rescue organization. Everyone loved it, he won a prize, he was very proud of his special costume in the theme of party, and he loves birds! I did try to stretch the elastic band of the mask to keep it from squeezing his nose but it didn’t help. So then I cut it and used a large safety pin in the back to give it another 2”, still not comfy and the inside of the eyes/nose are hard/not soft at all, with almost a scratchy sharpness to the cut of the felt as well, so he just ended up wearing it on his forehead. The idea worked fine and got the point across but it would have been better if the mask could be worn as a mask, reasonably comfortably! Overall a cute little simple costume/pretend play item.

Cheap Material, it lasted maybe 3-4 times playing with it. He had fun with it those first few times. He said it wasn't very comfortable when he put it on. Too tight on the arms. Very frail and hardly washable.

I purchased this for my son’s book week at school. It was wild animal day and this was perfect for all day wear. Very light and lasted all day so it seems to be durable. So far he only wore for this costume.

The design is great, but the material is very thin and opaque. It seems like it would rip very easily. We made it work for the one day we needed it, but it wouldn’t stand up to a regular dress up play.
