Great pants......but they came used!
I love these PrAna pants. I bought them at an REI store, but they tore during washing (please note - wash these pants inside out, and do not put them in the dryer - they claim to be dryer safe, but I found otherwise). They do run a little large, but they are so flattering. They're my new favorite pants! However, the pants I received are clearly USED! I can tell by the inside tag that they had been washed, probably more than once (the tag on PrAna pants will wrinkle pretty severely when washed, which is why they recommend removing it prior to wearing). Also, the pants just reaked of perfume. So, clearly someone had previously washed them at least once, wore them at least once - leaving their heavy perfume on them, and then returned them.Let the buyer beware!

Wear them sparingly and have a belt on hand.
I like the color and they're very soft, however the fabric is thin (not a heavy weight corduroy at all)- depending on how often you wear these, they probably won't last more than a season or so.Also, they're super stretchy- even though they're cotton with only 2% spandex. This is probably the reason a lot of reviewers said to order a size down. I'm 5'7', 157lbs. I usually wear an 8 or a 10 depending on the cut. I ordered an 8. These pants fit perfectly when I tried them on after they arrived but after a few minutes of moving around they're already falling down.Overall I guess I expected more from Prana.

Rip easily. And wider leg then advertised.
Not for girls that have a big booty. Within the first week I had Them the back belt loop ripped and the other two are close also. I wore With a belt and it torn them. Also waaaaaaaay more flared then described. I wanted To like these pants a lot. But I just Don’t. Waste of money. Do not recommend.

flattering comfie cords
these are unbelievably comfortable due to the very skinny wale and the stretch factor. The colors are beautiful. these run large, so go down a size. I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars because I had to take multiple tiny tucks in the waist band to keep them on! They ride slightly low and fit everywhere else (I am normally a size 4, 5'4", 124#) but had to go to a size 2 in these. Once I made the waist band fit better and hemmed them up I loved them!have 'em in moss and gravel.

Runs very large, kind of bulky too
I returned these pants. I did not care for the material. It felt bulky and the sizes run very large.

LOVE these pants!
These pants are SO comfortable! I am 5'8", 155lbs, and usually wear a size 8, sometimes a 10, depending on the brand. After reading reviews about these running large, I got the 8, and they fit PERFECTLY. I usually never order pants online because of fit and color differences. I ordered the "gravel" and it looks exactly like the picture. I have bigger hips/thighs and these are not too tight and do not pull in the back. I have problems a lot with pants bagging in the crotch (the zipper being too long) and these do not do that at ALL. They are wonderful and stretchy and soft, I feel like I could sleep in them! They are nice enough that I wear them to the office with flats, and casual enough that you could wear them hiking with athletic shoes. At 5'8", these hit right at the floor so they are the perfect length. I only wish I had ordered another pair!

The Low Down On prAna Cords
I bought the prAna Women's Autumn Cord Pant along with what I thought were 4 other distinct prAna cords and finally understood why there is so much confusion as to the differences among prAna corduroy in the reviews here on Amazon. So I went to the prAna website, and together with Amazon's site and several others that sell prAna, I gleaned the low down on the many cord pants that prAna offers. This prAna Autumn Cord is a stretch 18 wale corduroy 5-pocket pant, the softest, finest (meaning narrowest) wale that prAna makes. The wale is the width of the parallel fiber ridges in the fabric (in this case, cotton). PrAna describes the textile as "velvety fine" on their website. However, it's very thin and a little bit starchy to the touch and in the drape. This makes more sense if you know that corduroy is a type of velvet only because velvet is tufted cotton. Also, if you remember that "fine" only means "narrow" (ridges) in this description, not "fine" as in excellent or "finely" ground coffee or mineral powder! The waist is mid rise, the pockets are shallow and the fit is standard, meaning somewhat tight around the legs, and looser at the ankles and in the front of the waist. So prAna's 18 wale corduroy is available in THREE styles as a high-rise relaxed fit with loose legs and a 34" length, prAna Women's Myrah Pant , a mid-rise standard fit with more shape to the legs and a 33.5" length, prAna Women's Autumn Cord Pant and a low-rise fitted profile with tight legs and a 33" length, prAna Women's Trinity Pant . The prAna site does not tell you any of this, you just have to figure it out when you buy them and by perusing stats of many, many different websites that sell them! By the way, the Myrah and the Autumn Cord are the least popular cords. PrAna doesn't even sell the Myrah pant on its site anymore (thus the hugely discounted price here on Amazon). The brand's best selling cords are the newest, prAna Women's Canyon Pant , a stretch 16 wale corduroy 5-pocket pant with a "standard" fit (mid-rise waist, semi-fitted legs, 33" length) and a flower-printed interior waistband. The 16 wale is a wider wale, so supposed a little less soft than the 18 wale, although it is 98% cotton and 2% Spandex, the same as the 18 wale. The only thing that makes the Autumn Cord "new" is the brighter colors and the contrast stitching available on some of those colors, such as the "grey-blue," a bright gunmetal with neon orange piping and the "Espresso," chocolate with peach piping. Newer, brighter colors include Mustard, Rust and Cargo Green. The prAna Women's Bedford Canyon Pant, sometimes sold as the Prana Living Women's Bedford Canyon Pant is available in more traditional, classic colors (Khaki, Thistle, Gravel, Stone) BUT IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS prAna's Canyon Pant! You can clearly see this when you buy the two and compare them or look at pictures of the two on websites. However, I've read DOZENS of reviews where people go into detail about the differences between the Canyon Pant and the Bedford Canyon Pant: Yeah, No, THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE. Unlese maybe you got one from last season and the other one from this season and a few stitches are dissimilar. Other than that, trust me, NO DIFFERENCE. Even the prAna website tries to encourage distinctions between them by listing different facts for each one, but I called them and guess what? No difference! THEY'RE THE SAME PANT!That's it for the prAna cords! Finally, there's one last maybe-corduroy in prAna's arsenal, the prAna Women's Brynn Skinny Cargo Pant, which prAna doesn't even identify as corduroy in it's name. Way down on the list of attributes, the pant is described as a "stretch bedford cord with a softening enzyme wash," but they also call it a "stretch twill." What gives?! Now prAna also defines the Bedford Canyon Pant as a "stretch bedford cord with microsanded finish" which sounds pretty much the same as a cord with an enzyme finish. Not even a call to headquarters could straighten this little conundrum out! And as it was the only prAna cord I didn't buy, I will leave that to another consumer to discern. So until the day prAna decides to quit deliberately confusing us, I will stand by what I've written here on the Great prAna Cord Debate, and say that I returned all other cords but this one, the Myrah, as it was the best, most flattering and softest of the cardboard-like cords! LOL.

Good cords
These are a bit low-slung for me, but lovely soft cord and very well-made. The color is exactly what I wanted.
