Likely Incomplete
In this book Shadrach layouts how to construct a 100x100 magic square which is to grant the bearer special abilities and protections. But once you construct it, how do you activate it? This seems to be left out.

Not for beginners for sure
To appreciate this book you really, really need to be into magic squares. The author creates a 100 X 100 magic square. Then creating a number from the divine name, multiplies each term of the first square to generate 100 X 100 squares for each sephira of the Cabala. Eleven squares in all. As to how to use these squares, you are on your own. So the book consists of 14 pages of introduction and explanation and 235 pages of numerical tables. That is what I would have liked to have known before buying this book. I feel the publishers blurb for this book is misleading and felt ripped off on receiving it. Hence the low rating. This review will not be very helpful to others, but I feel much better in writing it.

A More Objective Review
Magic Squares and the Tree of Life reveals an ancient method that has escaped the attention of almost all advanced Western magicians through the centuries. Many beginners have asked: "But, what do I do with these squares?". The answer is actually pretty straight forward when you read the translation of the ancient manuscript. All they did is carry the magic square or keep it near by to benefit from its charm. If you have a sacred space, make it a ceiling decoration and let the energy flow. Some have pointed out that the introduction is only 14 pages. It is 14 pages packed with information on large sized paper and not your typical 5x8 or 6x9. It isn't the size that matters, but the content. Imagine 300 pages of neophyte materials you can get in many rehashed books vs 14 pages of advanced teachings for the grade of Adeptus Major. But we are quibbling here...This book is about the most powerful variant of magic squares (according to the Arab magicians of the Middle age) and its 10 variations as it applies to the emanations of the Tree of Life.Put differently, this isn't your high school physics. This is like getting the notes on the E=MC2 formula as it is revealed for the first time. Get it if you know your basics or get it because you think you can handle it or get it because you want a taste of advanced techniques.

Magic Squares and Tree of Life Western Mandalas of Power
I really do wish Amazon could review all books for potential buyers and allow them to look inside them before we commit to buying. I really feel let down from buying a book on Magic Squares only to discover as like other buyers have found. There are only 14 pages that describe an introduction to the magic square and of its construction. The additional 200 pages are full of mind numbing tables (squares) containing endless five rows and columns of numbers. The pages only tell the reader the magic squares relate to the 10 spheres from the Tree of Life but completely fail to explain exactly what these numbers mean or what purpose they have in their use. It is like reading a book with only chapter one printed with the remaining chapters missing the main theme of the book. Indeed this book is not the run of the mill magical spells Harry Potter cookbook of hard to obtain items or lengthy rituals. Nor is it a book on how to apply the magical laws of attraction, while being unemployed and living in a run down housing estate. If Amazon enabled me or other buyers to review and look inside past page 14 then I wouldn't have wasted my money. It is only on the back cover of this book that the author 'at last,' advises the reader that the book isn't for beginners etc and claims that within these 200 pages, contains a 'Master Key Inside.' As one who has read on the occult sciences for over 25 years and has an interest in numerology, I fail to see how I can try to understand the what, how and why of what these random numbers mean let alone their practical applications. At least train timetables serve with more practical applications and cost nothing. My eyes got sore after trying to read and understand the mesmerizing array of tables. For example what does the table on page 193 titled L.10-M1 try to explain? What does the first column and row with numbers 2181631 mean? Is L.10-M1 the name of a comet or far distant star in the solar system?I am not sure if they are mapping coordinates to locating a hidden pot of gold or to conjure the National Lottery numbers. The only person who benefits from the book on 'how to get square eyes from reading random numbers' is the author. I will rate this 1 out of 5
