I was looking for a battery operated easy to use alarm clock with a simple easily visible dial. When you push the button at top it lights up the dial with a nice warm glowing light that lasts for about 6 seconds; enough time to see what time it is but not super bright or annoying. Affordable. Uses 2 DblAA batteries, keeping time accurately so far.

This clock is just a bit larger than I expected based on the picture, which is perfect for stability, as most small alarm clocks are hard to see, hard to pick up and they often disappear into the clutter on a bedside table. The clock face is bold and easy to read. This clock has a very bright, impressive really, backlight, with a top mounted bar to turn it on. After a moment it turns off on its own. It has a second hand, so one glance confirms it is running as it should. Most of all, unlike the tiny travel alarm it replaces, it runs completely silent. No more lying awake all night clearly hearing every second tick off. Very pleased with it.

This clock is perfect & so easy to set up. The alarm starts out with a slight beep & slowly goes louder. Easy button on the side to turn off.Press the button on the top for light. The size is just right and easy to read. Will take it with us on our travels.

A good clock with a few things light sleepers should be aware of. A quiet clock with one exception. If you do not want to use the alarm to sleep in, you must move the alarm hand past the time you think you will wake up. Even with the alarm off, as the clock goes past the alarm time a loud CLICK occurs which will wake light sleepers up. Also, the light does illuminate the entire dial but is very bright which may prevent some light sleepers from returning to sleep.

This is the PERFECT alarm clock for us non techy seniors! Super, super easy to use! I LOVE IT!!!!! I am so tired to things that are difficult to use, hard to understand, or just downright not right for a non-tech person in this day and age. This clock is quiet, goes off when it is supposed to, keeps accurate time and is a joy to own. So glad I came across it and even happier that I bought it! This clock keeps perfect time. The light button goes on for 5 seconds when pushed, otherwise the clock doesn't put light in your room at night if by the bedside. Clock face is easy to read. I'm very happy with this purchase and can recommend it to anyone looking for a nice analog clock.
