Great quality microphone for your money!
The Blue Yeti is one of the easiest microphones to use on the market today. Once you pull the beautifully designed microphone out of it's packaging you can easily connect it to your pc or laptop by using the USB that is included in the box. Once you have connected the yeti it works almost instantly, it has multiple buttons and dials to mute, change volume, gain control, even a dial to change the pattern of the audio to get different qualities ex.(singing, podcasts and others). As many other people have stated it has one of the clearest and articulated sound from a USB and is the standard of desktop microphones. The Yeti comes with an aux port for your headphones if needed, with a port in the bottom in case you wish to take it off its adjustable stand and attach it to a suspension or boom stand. With this many features and sound quality, it is completely worth the money it cost to purchase.

Exceptional microphone with great overall quality, but compromised on small, almost petty things.
Beautiful mic, with really fabulous quality but certain things “annoy” rather than really upset. For example, the volume knob is made is cheaply out of fragile plastic (at least that’s what it feels like) and so I have to be very mindful of that. The usb cable that comes with it is really of poor quality too, so much that the head broke within the first time of using it (they had it replaced for me immediately which was great). Lastly the paint! The paint immediately started coming off the moment I started using it - that’s probably what is most annoying to me....and yet...would I recommend this mic? 1000% YES! It’s an incredible piece of machinery and tech that I have not seen anywhere else for the price.Peace and love from San Francisco!

Very nice quality and sound when used properly
When buying this I would suggest buying it bundled with a boom arm, a pop filter, and wind screen as it helps clear the sound and having the mic closer with the boom arm helps. I recommend when using the 3rd recording setting to turn the gain all the way down as the mic is fairly sensitive. I’ve had no problems and I really love the mic

I've bought three. Best (easy) mic for recording videos or gaming
I've bought three of these. I am an educator with a flipped classroom and record all of my live instruction and this mic made that process so easy. Even if you are not super tech savy, this mic allows you to get the right sound without any fuss. I tried recording on other headsets or with usb lapel mics and they jsut don't work 1/10th as well as the Yeti Blue mic does.I use one setting to record videos and another (omni) to record class conversations. Just the presence of an official looking mic changes the classroom. The students love using the mic.I let me eSports club use the mic when they stream their rocketleague matches and tutorials. They love using this mic. Without breaking the bank you get a professional mic with a really good compressor. The Yeti snowball is good as well, but I really love the quality of the Yeti Blue.Great for educators and great for gaming.

This appears to be the standard for this price
I did a bunch of research before settling on this, the most popular inexpensive USB microphone out there. My goal was to use it for a podcast project, and it has been solid for that. You might be able to get something as good that costs a little less, and you certainly could find a better one that costs more, but this appears to be the standard in this price range. Overall I am satisfied but not delighted. The pick up (or whatever you want to call it, I am not an audio pro) is not very strong, and it has to be turned up a little high. The mic itself is pretty heavy and a little awkward to use, it is recommended that you put your mouth close to it (and you will want a pop filter, which is not included). In over a year of use, it still works fine, and it seems pretty rugged--I accidentally knocked it off my desk and onto the floor a couple of times, and there was no damage that I am aware of. The results have been pretty good, and my voice does come out sounding like my voice.

Simple to use, good product
Does exactly what I imagined. Works as a microphone. Sounds much better than my computers built in mic. I enjoy that I can put my head phones directly into the mic's base. Simple enough for anyone to use. Plug and play.

Best mic for teleconferencing
I got this to try voice acting but have only used it for work so far. I only telecommute and occasionally have to jump in video conferences or voice chat for screenshares, and I am constantly receiving compliments from clients on my audio quality. I've got a scissor boom hooked to my desk and keep the foam sock over it, with the direction knob set to the circle icon.

About two weeks ago I decided to get a better mic for my iMac since i like making and ...
I'm not big on leaving reviews but i had to in this case... About two weeks ago I decided to get a better mic for my iMac since i like making and receiving calls using FaceTime Audio. I didn't think i needed anything special so I ordered a cool looking Marantz retro mic, just to find out that people on the other end could barely understand what i was saying. While returning the Marantz I ordered Blue Snowball (in chrome). Kinda cool looking mic, seemed like good built quality too, but again the sound quality wasn't that great and people on the other end made it known. So I decided to try Blue Yeti (in slate). Now people I talk to comment on how clear they hear me (while i sit about 3 feet away and talk normally). While the mic is large and heavy it is of solid build quality and looks amazing. I was going to try Shure mic next but there's no need. This one's a winner!

Un investimento per i vostri social
WOW! Magnifico in tutto.

Big, Bad, Yeti. Rawr.
A lot bigger than I expected. I had read and heard a lot about the Blue line, especially the Yeti, but I never took the time to actually look at the dimensions, even before buying (I'm usually quite meticulous when researching products I intend to or am interested in buying) it. Looks great (decided to go with Slate over Midnight Blue, don't regret it a bit) and sounds great though, especially for the price (got it for 99$ CAD) on special.I was looking for a usb mic for videos/podcasting (as well as other stuff) that didn't require especiallly great or specific sound (I have another xlr condenser mic for rap, vocals etc. though I stll fool around with this one when I want to drop some bars for fun or test something out) but despite this it still has remarkable quality for a usb mic. The sound is clear and crisp when you need it to be, but it also picks up quite a bit. Make sure you have basic treatment or are in a very silent environment when using it (obvious advice but I still feel like pointing it out because even with the gain wayyyyyy down it still picks up like crazy). I stll have to explore the different options it offers with other people around (omni and bidirectional for instance) but I bought it for a specific purpose and right now it's definitely fulfilling that need. Just having the other options is a big +. All in all a product I highly recommend and would buy again.
