Compact, Lightweight, Clear, Versatile, Budget Friendly
I go on late night walks and meditate in the garden or nearby parks well after midnight quite often and have been curious what all these stars and flashy dots in the sky were, so got into astrology a bit and decided to help my nephew into it. This truly had been a perfect somewhat beyond a beginner's first telescope gift. The first thing we noticed was a red and white flashing star was actually 2 planets closely aligned in view, beautiful to see them through this scope and the kids amazement at the discovery of features of the night sky.So, my nephew and I love this telescope. It's the third I've owned so far, I was amazed how easy and quick it was to set up, took literally under 5 minutes to setup after unpacking. The booklet of instructions were very clear and easy to follow.Even when mounted onto the tripod stand, it's beautifully lightweight and sturdy. Some say the tripod is flimsy, but I do have multiple of very similarly constructed lightweight DSLR camera tripod stands, and this one is just as sturdy as them, as well as being smooth/easy to extend/retract in a jiffy.I do much appreciate the added bubble level, which works perfectly fine too.The tripod also comes with a phone mount, which works just fine and is a much appreciated bonus, which I'm sure will be used plenty by many family. Though if I were to mount my heavier DSLR camera's to this tripod, I'd want a hook to hang a weighted bag to increase stability. Definitely not needed for when the telescope is mounted, as it's pretty lightweight and well balanced itself, though you may want some small sand bags on the legs if using in very windy conditions. You could buy some generic spike attachments for use on grass/soil, for better stability in gardens/fields.I would've liked for the various lens caps to be attached/strung so they don't go missing but that's a minor issue.I'm pretty surprised of the focusing clarity when zooming in, (the two large knobs make focusing very easy and smooth,) especially on the 12.5mm 35x magnification lens. I actually prefer the 20mm for moon gazing and the 12.5mm for the further celestial objects and stars. The finder scope does invert the image to upside-down, so don't see this as a glitch. This little scope make locating objects easier, so getting used to using it will make the rest far easier. The learning curve for decent focusing and clarity is pretty short, greatly helped by the instructions booklet, so I recommend reading through thoroughly if not used such a telescope before, really will clear up many frustrations of those new to the scene. And remember to have patience, finding decent focus and clarity can take some getting used to its operations.Overall in all honesty, it's a great quality bargain for such a lightweight telescope and tripod. Definitely recommended as a first venture, no doubts. Thanks for making such affordable quality:)

The Perfect Beginner’s Telescope – Clear, Simple & Easy Setup!
This telescope is a brilliant choice for beginners or families looking to explore the night sky. It was really easy to set up, with clear instructions that made the whole process simple. The image quality is surprisingly good for the price, giving sharp and clear views of the moon and stars. It comes with two eyepieces and a Barlow lens, which give just the right level of magnification for casual stargazing without making things shaky or complicated. The phone adapter is a lovely touch and works well for taking quick photos. My kids have really enjoyed using it and it has made stargazing fun and accessible for all of us. It is lightweight and easy to carry, perfect for taking on trips or using in the garden. Overall, this telescope strikes the right balance between quality and ease of use. I highly recommend it for anyone starting out or wanting to share a bit of space magic with their family.

Handy scope for casual stargazing
Since the evening it arrived, this neat blue refractor has more or less lived by the patio doors. When the children finally drift off to sleep, I slide it outside and steal half an hour beneath the hazy London sky. Even with streetlamps flooding everything in orange, the 70 mm objective paired with its 400 mm tube still gathers enough light for a crisp look at the lunar surface. Tycho’s bright splash, the rippled rings around Copernicus, and even a fleeting glimpse of Jupiter’s tiny entourage appear without my needing to bundle everyone into the car for a late-night dash to rural Kent. Two eyepieces come in the box, one 20 mm and one 12.5 mm, giving roughly 20 to 32 times magnification. Because all the glass is fully coated, the stars remain pin-sharp rather than swelling into fuzzy blobs.Putting it together feels easier than assembling flat-pack furniture. Ten minutes and no screwdriver required. Aligning the 5 × 24 finder calls for a steady hand and a pinch of patience, but once it is true to the main tube the whole arrangement behaves nicely. The aluminium tripod remains steady on the paving unless a spirited gust rattles through, so I sling my camera bag from the centre brace to keep it anchored. The mobile-phone adapter clips on without protest, yet the lightweight plastic reminds me to handle it gently. Those quirks are minor. What matters is that this telescope offers pleasing optics, fuss-free assembly and just enough portability for an impromptu session, all for a price that does not sting.

Average image quality
This is a simple yet nice telescope for children who are ambitious about sky watching. Gives a decent moon image. I love the tripod though. It is very easy to use and light. It hass al the accessories with it. Good buy.

Perfect for a new hobby!
I brought this to pursue a new hobby and I have no complaints! The telescope is simple to put together with instructions and shows the night sky beautifully. The travel bag is great for storage and keeping away from children's hands. Would purchase for a friend if they was to look for one. 5 stars.

Great Value Beginner Telescope
Review for Telescope for Adults Beginners, 70mm Aperture 400mm AZ Mount Fully Multi-Coated Optics Refractor Portable Telescopes, Travel Telescope with Tripod Phone AdapterA great starter telescope to help get you started in Astronomy. The telescope arrives requiring simple assembly, with instruction manual on hand to help and includes everything you need and tripod. The trickiest part of the setup/calibration is set up of the finderscope which when done properly allows you to quickly and easily find and locate objects to view. The telescope includes two eye pieces one low powered mainly for setup and higher powered for observation. You also have a mobile device adapter to allow easy astrophotography using nothing more than your mobile devices built in camera. The overall package is low cost astronomy package allowing a good experience without breaking the bank.
