Yes. Can change to measure in meters or yards.

What is the maximum range ?

2000 yards on a reflective target is advertised. However I have only reached around 1900 yards with a good reading. Anything within 1000-1100 yards animal wise I’ve been able to pick up. The glass is clear and to me has a blue tint which makes it nice in the afternoons. Haven’t had any problems with mine and absolutely recommend.

I can’t relate to not having good luck with it in weather. I’ve used it in all different weather conditions. Zero problems on multiple hunts and accounting trips!
