Love the way my skin smells and feels after a shower.

I've been experimenting with different Olive oil based soaps over the past couple of months...I wanted something I could wash both hair and body with and that would help with a flare up of very dry itchy skin. I started with Savon de Marseilles, but didn't like the smell of the unscented versions, and the blocks that contained flower petals, although beautifully scented, were a little hard to handle in the shower due to size. Then I went to Olivella, but although great for my skin, they tended to make my hair oily and melt too easily into a browny sludge in the soap dish. Kiss my Face have the perfect combination...there is actually a greater percentage of Olive oil in them than the Savon de Marseille, no rough flower petals, and a beautiful natural scent. It's a good sized bar, but rectangular, so easy to handle in the shower, and it leaves my hair and skin feeling soft, not dry. Love it! My beloved Savon de Marseille has had to take second place in my favorites list now!

Product arrived in package of microfine soap dust powder that coated the individual soaps boxes. This microfine dust creates an irritating smell that will cause difficulty breathing. I believe this is what others are referring to as chemical smell. I would recommend wearing a face mask while opening the package, store in a sealed container and immediately dispose of the original packaging. Product does not allow returns and seller does not return inquiries - you have been warned.

When I turned 20 I started having the worst acne ever. I tried EVERY acne product there was out there to no avail. One day I was talking about it to a friend and she told me that she had the same problem and the only thing that worked was when she went "all natural." So I found this soap at the grocery store and decided to try it.OH MY GOSH! You know how people will tell you the acne will get worse before it gets better if you've found the right product? Well they are WRONG! After the first time I used this soap my face felt so clean and the acne started clearing up immediately. I highly highly highly recommend trying this if nothing else has worked for you. I would also recommend using a little bit of lavender oil on your face after you've washed it. (I have since quit using the lavender oil, but it seemed to really help the process at first) This soap is absolutely amazing!!

I discovered Kiss My Face products maybe 20 years ago. I was looking for a large size bath soap that didn't dry out my skin and didn't have a scent. I tried the olive oil and olive oil & aloe soaps and loved them. There is a very very light clean scent. The lavender scent soap is just wonderfully scented while using it and most importantly it doesn't cause dryness. One draw back if you use white or light color wash cloths -- it will stain it after prolonged use. I also use the moisture lotion olive and aloe when needed especially in winter. There are stronger scented products that come in soft soap pump style containers. You can find this brand in most health food stores if you just want to try it. Then buy it in larger quanties on Amazon at a lower unit cost.

A wonderful soap. I previously tried the bar that was simply Olive Oil and it was great for the skin and didn't cause any breakouts or rashes on my partner with sensitive skin. This time around I went for the one with Lavender to hopefully get a bit of a natural pleasant scent. Overall a great bar that I will definitely be buying again as long as it's available.So why only 4 starts?The 8oz bar is HUGE. It's hard to grip for me and my hands aren't tiny. There's no way a child could use without dropping it constantly. It costs a bit more to go with the 4oz bars, but I highly recommend them especially if you have children or elderly using this.The scent is stronger than expected. The packaging is this: soap wrapped in thin cardboard and a heavy paper outter wrapping, 4 bars wrapped together in plastic, the 8 bars then in a sealed plastic bag, everything inside a taped Amazon box. So you wouldn't think, with all that packaging, that the scent of this soap would be apparent before even picking up the Amazon box, but it is. The whole bathroom smells of the soap immediately after opening and that scent doesn't go away. It IS a pleasant scent! I only wish it was about half the strength.An overall great soap that doesn't cause dry itchy skin or irritation and leaves a pleasant scent.

Yes this soap smells but due to the fact that when exposed to air or different environmental factors the outer portion of the soap will deteriorate. Upon usage of the soap and becoming rehydrated..the smell goes away. Also, these soaps are not treated with the extremely harsh chemicals that are used by other commercial companies for drying agents. Basically what you are smelling is concentrated olive oil and the sodium chloride emerging to the surface…there is nothing wrong with this particular soap. If you throw them away..it’s your loss. Soak it in hot or warm water if your offended by the smell or use it for spot treating laundry..

I have used Kiss my Face soap for over 20 years and love the soap! Problem is I have ordered the 8 bar pack three times and only gotten 1 single bar in the shipment each time. Twenty dollars is too much for one bar of this soap! I don't know what the problem is but I am giving up ordering this soap!
