Hi Johnny, The full weight of the product is 4-5lbs, its a very lightweight jacket.

Q: My chest size is 49 what should I order

This jacket runs small. Might want to get a size or two bigger to be comfortable. I ended up giving my jacket to my son, he wears 2x and I ordered a 4x, fits him perfectly. I don't think they plan for big guys... LOL. Hope that helps.

I bought this and love it. My suggestion would go between 1-1 1/2 sizes up. I am normally an XL with an occasional L. The XXL works great, as normally it is an extra layer on top of more than just a base layer
