If I wanted to use this on the walls inside of a house would it work?

Be prepared for a more bronze color, which is what I received.

Does "self adhesive" mean it's sticky on one side?

Yes. I wouldn't recommend it. It shipped with a crease in it that ruined the whole roll. It was not damaged in shipping, the box was fine. It was damaged prior to shipment.

Where can I get the lamination that is required to prevent the vinyl from fading?

I haven’t had an issue with fading
