You pay for the best, you get the best.
Six months in, and it's a rock solid, daily, go to manicuring staple. At a price like this, you expect it to clean under your nails, the webbing of your hands, any ink/soil stains on your hands, and reduce the cuticles. It does all of that with a quickness.Again, at this price, you'd pretty much expect it to last for decades. It's tough to make the call this early into our relationship, but it easily feels as good or better than it did the day out of the box.I'll update periodically, but this is billed as the best, and thus far, it's living up to it's reputation.Nine month later: Some discoloration of the wood, almost certainly my own doing. The bristles, and that's what you're really buying, are phenomenal. In fact, last night, I was on a camping trip, looking at my nails and longing for this thing. This is indeed a five star product.

This brush will keep your nails looking good
I garden all the time and my hands and nails get really dirty. I know I should wear gloves, but I do not like how they feel. As a result, my hands get really grungy. This brush gets everything out from my cuticles and even under the nails. Well worth the price.

excellent quality, stiff enough to REALLY clean fingernails and toenails after gardening; this replaces one I bought in England 20 odd years ago. Keep the wood dry and it will last a long, long time.

What A Shame - but wait!
Kent has an enviable reputation among brush makers so I ordered one of these nail brushes with high hopes. Unfortunately, like many others here, my brush quickly became mouldy at the end grain on both ends of the brush. And it's not that I'm careless with it; I dry it as much as I can after every use and never let it sit in water. I think that Kent has an issue here with either wood selection or how they finish/seal these brushes. It's a shame because otherwise the brush is well made and it certainly performs well. Given that Kent has a royal warrant (by appointment to Her Majesty, etc.) I just hope that Elizabeth got a better one than I did. Oh, and despite trying to contact them via their website, they have never responded to me. Kent really should either fix this issue or start making brushes from a less permeable product.July 2020 and I wanted to edit my review.I contacted Kent via their website a few weeks ago to complain about this brush. To my surprise they responded to tell me they were now using "new technology to reduce the risk of this problem occurring" and offered to replace my brush. Yesterday a package arrived with two new NB3 brushes, so I kept one and gave one to a friend. Time will tell about how this long brush will last but I'll give kudos to Kent for admitting to the problem and to taking steps to correct it.April 2023Just a quick update. The replacement brushes that Kent sent me both developed the same problems. What a pity they don’t make this brush with a plastic/nylon handle.July 2023I've now given up on these Kent brushes. I've had 3 of them (2 were replacements from the company) and the bristle ares great, the customer service is great, the brush works very well and I really want to like them but all 3 have developed nasty black mould in the wooden handle within a few months. And it's not like I don't care for the brushes. I dry them as much as I can and always store them properly but the mould persists. I have since gone to a plastic bodied Tweezerman and I much prefer it.

Great classic from the UK
I had one of these for many years when I lived in the UK and it was time to get a nice new one. They work great and are worth the money. Lasted many years .
