This battery replacement was what I really needed and it worked like a charm as described. It holds a charge longer than expected for a replacement battery. The only con was that it didn't have a little attachment to help when removing it. Aside from that, I'm very satisfied with the purchase as it worth the money rather than spending a lot of money on the same thing.

The battery that this one replaced cells had burst and forced the back open. This one fits just like the OEM. and takes a full charge. When the battery arrived it had 68% charge. I will condition it by charging and discharging it a couple times.

Ok this battery works as designed without issue. However, if you are looking for a device that compares to the oem battery this is not it. the construction quality is very cheap and the battery locks on the unit I received arrived broken. I would not recommend this battery if your device is still under warranty, but if your device is out of warranty then I recommend this battery.UPDATE: I post my reviews of items based on my experience with them. After I posted my review the Seller reached out to me and apologized that I received a defective product and provided me with a partial refund for the device. This was completely unexpected! I have to give the seller kudos for stepping up. The seller did not get upset about my review but took action to address the issue that a customer experienced. If I need another laptop battery I will do business with this seller again.

This battery installed into my laptop fine and functioned but the life was way shorter than the worn-out battery I was replacing. Also, my laptop was definitely warmer with this than the original battery. I reported the product as defective and Amazon gave me a refund. Would not recommend.

I am extremely dissapointed with this product!!I purchased this battery just over a year ago, several months ago it started draining quickly and now it doesnt work at all, I am working with a laptop that can only work while it is plugged in, as if there's not battery in it.DO NOT BUY! Cheap item!!

fixed my batter issue seems to hold a charge pretty god, although mine is usually plugged in pretty good value and quality for the price

Overall its good, i needed two of them so i can have one act as a spare while i have my laptop in the field or when i travel. It fits perfectly, and way cheaper then getting one from hp directly Two things though, first the lock switches are a bit tricky but they do lock in place when the battery is installed, and second thing the battery shows that its charged at 99%? I hope its a error from the computer and not the actual battery, I will be testing it using a volt meter to be on the safe side.

my hp elite book battery died so i was looking for reasonale OEM alternative and found this and its working good so farI had same battery before they usually start to jloose the charge over time but not bad for the price as my laptop is old so it should last until i get new laptopThis is compatible with my hp elite book and usually gie me around 2 hours run time without power

Received product for hp Elitebook 840/ 850 but doesn’t fit. Costs to return are covered by buyer and end up being half to same full amount as purchase. Waste of money. They offer only $3.99 to cover return costs. Nothing in details mentioned anything about this. Not very transparent.
