These lightweight tactical pants are manufactured from cool, 6.5 oz. 65/35 polyester cotton rip-stop and are ideal for someone who lives or works in a warm climate or someplace where the summer months can present a serious uniform challenge. Just like Tru-Spec’s original 24-7 cotton pants, these lighter weight rip-stop pants are built for unequalled comfort, exceptional fit and amazing versatility. And they’re styled with crisp, contemporary good looks. These new 24-7 pants offer a real all season, easy care alternative to our 24-7 cotton pants and they’re every bit as versatile as the originals, as well. Tru-Spec’s exclusive 24-7 rip-stop pants are loosely based on the tactical uniform trousers preferred by many SWAT officers and other special operators – complete with ample storage for a myriad of professional and personal gear. The remarkable fit, comfort and striking good looks help take these pants into completely new territory where no single-function tactical pants have ever ventured. Special features include:Self adjusting slider waist band without visible elastic gathers on the outside. No need for adjustable side tabs, Teflon coating for stain resistance and durability, Extra deep front pockets, Unique pocket design looks flat from the front, but bellowed side gusset expands to provide secure storage for your duty gear, Each cargo pocket has two internal magazine compartments, External cell phone pocket, 2 knife or accessory pockets, Zipper fly with YKK brass zipper and Reinforced knees with openings for knee pads.

Not for bending or squatting.
I have had these for less then 3 months and they are already ruined. The stitching in the crotch gave out. Once one thread went, it was all down hill. The thread that is used is very cheap. The fabric held fine. I am hoping my local tailor shop can fix it. For a 60 dollar pair of pants, they didn't last long. These pants aren't really made for an active day job, at least not one were you have to bend or squat down.

Good, Not perfect
I purchased one pair of these pants and two pairs of the 5.11 Taclite pro pants at the same time to compare which would be better. My main objective was to have pants that I could wear daily and also that would work for carrying my firearm inside the waistband. WIth traditional pants to carry IWB you need to oversize your pants.. so when you are not carrying they are just too big. Both of these brands have an elastic band and to be honest I kine of give TRU-SPEC the win on the elastic for looks. It does not look like an elastic waistband.I also carry a knife (paramilitary 2) and when I am carrying my firearm a spare mag, cell phone, wallet and keys. The 5.11 win in this category. They have a perfect pocket on the front right for my knife and on the left a perfect pocket for my spare mag. These TRU spec pants have a pocket for my knife on the right side but not quite as handy and not quite as big for a largish knife. These do have a pocket for a mag but it is inside of one of the cargo pockets. I also give the nod to the 5.11 pants for the belt loop placement.Overall, when i first got both brands I initially liked the TRU SPEC more than the 5.11 but after carrying my EDC load and using both pants I will be purchasing more of the 5.11 pants instead of these pants. They are just laid out better for my personal needs and have just the right sized pockets for my EDC items and in the right places. These are still great pants. Beats my old Carhartt's anyday for comfort and versatility anyday. So still a solid choice. But for me, the taclite won me over.

See review UPDATE.
These are better than some I've had that cost double the price. Not kidding, and if you're a Tech in any field or EMS, you know what I mean. This is for the 32Wx32L i have.I've been a Tech for almost 50 years, so my reviews on this type of clothing can be pretty brutal. There's normally at least 1 or 2 "sticking points" regarding shortcomings. Not today! These deliver in every category.-Fit was excellent, and exactly as ordered.-Comfort, Excellent-Quality, EXCELLENT.-Material, light, breaths but warm. Sheds water well. Damned near impossible to wrinkle.-Secure pockets/sub pockets, Excellent.-Ambidextrous pen/penlight slots behind both left & right side pockets.-EXCELLENT belt loops that keep waistband FLAT and COMFORTABLE.I could go on, but you get the point.UPDATE;Both pairs I bought now have broken snaps at the waist (and I'm a slim guy). I thought it was a fluke when the 1st one failed, but less than 2 weeks later, the OTHER pair failed!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.Tailor wants as much to replace them as they cost brand new!I know that I probably got these from a "bad batch" of snaps, but I sure expected them to last longer than half a year!

THESE ARE THE BEST TACTICAL PANTS
I've been in law enforcement for over 20 years and we're allowed to wear tactical pants as part of our uniform. I started out wearing the traditional 5.11's but they never did fit me right. I've tried the Propper but they didn't seem to fit me right either. One day while looking around in a military/law enforcement surplus store I tried on a pair of the Tru Spec 24/7 and fell in love with them. They fit me perfect. And I love the fact that the crotch doesn't hang halfway down to your knees. It's almost like they were tailor made for me. I have them in khaki, coyote (which is my favorite) and OD green. I love the arrangement of the cargo pockets. I've heard some people say they don't like or understand the small cargo pocket on the outside of the main cargo pocket on the side of the thigh. Well, I found a perfect use for it. I carry a Glock 43 on my ankle as a backup weapon. The little small cargo pocket is perfect for a spare Glock 43 magazine. So now I'm able to carry a backup magazine for my backup weapon. I love it. The only other pants that I've found that fit as well and wear good are the 5.11 Stryke Pants. I did buy two pair of the Stryke Pants but they so expensive and I don't see them holding up and lasting as long as the Tru Spec. I can buy two pair of Tru Spec 24\7's for what I can buy one pair of Stryke Pants. I wear these pants both on and off duty. And I love the way the elastic waistband is made. It's almost like they are tailor made for my waist. It's pretty much the same type waist band the stryke pants have. You can't go wrong with these pants.

Are These Knock Offs?
Like a few others have observed in their reviews, I have serious doubts as to the quality and thus authenticity of these Tru-Specs. I’ve owned a few pair of the identical 24-7s for years. I bought them locally at a police/military supply shop. There were no loose strings hanging off or out of anywhere inside or out of the pant. They were and are my favorite brand of tactical BDU style cargos over 5.11 and others. Extremely durable and comfortable. But the two pair I bought on Amazon were a great deal, about $25 less than local and seemed appropriate to try. Reviews are generally good. But if you’ve ever had Tru-Specs before, you’d know they don’t come out of the bag with so much as a single string hanging off a stitch anywhere. These are flawed everywhere. No pocket without loose strings hanging. Inseams are all coming apart or not stitched up the way the pair I’ve had before are on close inspection.I don’t know what’s going on but I think I’m gonna return these or take them to my local shop and compare.I’ve never had a problem with (any) knock offs on Amazon though I have heard plenty of accounts by active duty LEOS citing similar circumstances. If anyone else has experienced this with these usually amazing tactical pants, please comment. Thanks and God Bless!

Seem reasonable but condition not great - glue marks on trousers
I am based in UK and these were bought on UK site, but sold by Amazon US, so shipped from the States. They arrived today, and although the design is how I expected and the fit is reasonable, I am knocking off 2 stars as a warning to others, on the condition. They did not have any tags at all, so makes me wonder if a return, and there are a couple of bits of glue on the 'backside" of the trousers. The glue seems to come off with lots of effort, so I won' t bother returning, but not good enough, as they were supposed to be brand new, and at the price, I would expect much better, as well as given they were bought from Amazon and not a Third Party.

Amazing
Best hiking pants I have ever owned.+ Extremely durable material with reinforced knees+ Once broken-in they are very comfortable (5 washes/uses)+ Elastic waist allows for comfortable sitting to standing position changes+ Lots of pockets+ Rip-Stop material allows for reliable repairs+ Dries fairly quickly- Takes a long time to break-in- Bottom of pants are very wide (Ankle area had to be sewn to avoid dragging the heel portion on the ground)- Snap-button waist band (Has yet to come loose/off during many uses)- Low airflow.. High temperatures cause a lot of crotch rotBought 2 pairs and I absolutely love them! Will buy again IF they ever rip!

Very happy
Great quality pants. These pants have held up quite nicely after months of winter use and subject to snow, ice, water and salt. I really like the side pocket that are perfect size for my knife and small flashlight. Would definitely recommend these for daily use in a cooler climate. Will have to wait until summer months for a higher temperature review. So summer is here and i worked in temps over 33 degrees Celsius and no complaints. Hands down one of best pants I have purchased currently ordering another pair.
