Not supported by current (September 2017) linux firewalls (Sophos, Untangle)
I got this item as part of a miniature PC (the black box with 4 wired LAN ports that I'm seeing advertised above this right now on Amazon). I am glad to hear that it is supported by PFSense, because it is NOT supported by Sophos UTM 9.5 or the current release of Untangle (which uses kernel 3.16). It may be that recent 4.x versions of the kernel support this but distributions aimed at use as a firewall tend to use older, mature software.So beware, if you are buying one of these boxes with the intent to slap a linux firewall on it, you may be restricted to PFSense (which is BSD, not linux) or possibly taking a desktop-oriented distro with a recent kernel and configuring it yourself for firewall/router use.

Driver not supported by pfSense
Not stable with pfSense.Took about 20 reboots to get through all the troubleshooting, needed to accept Intel license in config files (dmesg is your friend here). Then, once it finally worked an update broke it and I haven't managed to get it going again.
