The wood is solid and obviously made to last. Constructing them was easy and precisely engineered. The stain color and application gives them character and makes them look more expensive. Depending on how they will be used, you might want to use a few coats of Minwax Satin clear coat Polyurethane to help it weather the sun and moisture, if you're planning on using them on your deck. If they will be under the porch and generally staying dry, one coat should allow them to last the ages. I am very happy with their look and durability. They come packaged well and protected. I would recommend them to a friend.

Wood was extremely dried out and rough when it arrived. Portions were almost white. I purchased the linseed oil as suggested and oiled it twice. Now it is even rougher and will need sanded. And perhaps re- oiled. On a good note - it was easy to put together

these are so comfortable and so cute! I enjoy my morning coffee on the front porch every morning :) Assembly was simple. If I could give 6 stars I would!
