Great for a quick fret polishing
I used these on a few guitars to polish the frets up. Easy to get a good mirror finish and you can wash them after with hot soapy water to get more uses out of them

Brill, so far lasting wellI used on an project made from old oak and using the range of grits I did not need to wax to get a fine finish

Great for sanding superglue
Used for sanding down superglue on pens, shame they dont sell the 300 grit seperate as this is the one that takes the brunt of the work and when its worn out the others are still in good condition but otherwise great product.

great value for money
Just started woodturning as a hobby and made a few pens. These pads are great for this. Perfect size and great variation in coarseness. Makes the CA glue coating come up to a mirror finish.

Nice selection of grits and looks to be well made.
Handy set of all the various grits I will probably need for guitar finishing. Look well made so should last a fairly long time if looked after.

Scratch free shine
My first time using micro pads. These are excellent quality. Working through each grit wet with the 3 highest grits dry, leaves a nice scratch free shine even without any polishing compound. The pictures shown are before and afters of an old vulcanite pipe stem which needed restoring. Using compounds leaves a mirror finish after using the pads. It can take a while to get the required finish but if polishing by hand, patience is always your best tool. As for durability, time will tell but so far, once they wear out, I'll be buying more. Highly recommend.

I would find other options.
Bought these to polish up guitar frets. There’s quite a few in a pack and they are firm hand but to be honest a bit of a waste of time as it takes very little to destroy them with some vigorous polishing. It’s very easy to completely flatten the surface of a 8000 for example so there is zero abrasion going forward. Let’s face it, this was probably produced for 1/2 a penny in China and somehow I thought it was a good idea to buy it at nearly £12.I’m an idiot, my bad.
