Used for many things and they work great.

I got this set of chisels in order to replace door old doorknobs on old doors. In some cases, the holes for the old knobs had not even been cut properly in the first place. So, I have been using these to carve the existing holes into a configuration which will accommodate the standardized doorknobs that you find at building supply stores. They work remarkably well. Don't loose track of the plastic end caps as these chisels really are sharp and you can accidentally cut yourself with them. All of that said, the big trade off for me was the three chisel set v. the four chisel set. I decided to that four chisels was overkill. Getting several different sizes of chisel has been a good move as I have been using pretty much all three chisels as part of this admittedly limited project. The end caps appear sufficiently well made to be struck by a mallet or hammer, but I have not had to do that.
