Most tears were purer than a few others but still happy with the quality. Good quality frankincense is very difficult to find. I burn the resin in a ceramic tealight oil burner. First the purifying smell releases then the smokiness occurs after the resin begins to bubble and turn brown (I don't know if it's supposed to do that but I find the crackling comforting).Essential for sanctifying a space in prayer and deep meditative states and accessing supra-consciousness in a wakened state. I've read that frankincense eases depression and anxiety, along with purifying the air of toxins and sickness, clearing negative and blocked spirits/energy, and rejuvenating the body inside and out. I've experienced the most interesting, transcendental meditations while burning frankincense in the name of the Lord.I will reorder unless I find a purer source at a lower price

very good. make sure to not "scorch" the resins. it will produce an dirty "black" smoke that will get on everything. light it with care as if to "just" melt. whenst heated the proper way this resin produce sweet aromatherapy.thank you team at BEEYO.

I've seen this before with other products. I'm not sure if they coat these with dust from the real thing or what...but regardless of *why* this happens...this is *how* it performs: You get an initial burst of a pleasant scent/aroma of Frankincense, and then as it continues to burn, it gives off the smell of burning weather treated lumber. Simply awful. I am using self lighting charcoal made for the purpose of burning resin and all the proper equipment for this, and even with what appears to be the higher grade pieces of resin, the performance is the same. There are less expensive and better performing products out there. The cost of this item considering its performance is nothing less than shameful.

Frankincense should smell good from start to finish, This doesn't, As it turns black it starts to smell like burned plastic or paper, and smells very bad. I think that this is not the real deal! I wish could return it, and buy frankincense from eastern orthodox church store, online.

I have purchased other frankincense before and not to happy with the smell compared to the other resin I used. It’s not a bad product at all it’s just not what I was looking for or use to since I didn’t quite enjoy the smell as much as I did with the other resin. The smell is not that bad either. I did however notice that when I add Loban resin to it, it enhances the smell. The two combined turned out great.

To be honest I had never even smelled Frankincense before ordering this and therefore do not have anything to compare it to. Having said that, I really enjoy this product because it seems quite fresh and pure. For someone who doesn't know what to expect it is basically the sap from the Burseraceae family of trees and shrubs. If you took sap from any tree it would smell somewhat similar but this is unique obviously. I recommend buying this if you are new to Frankensence because I have heard that if you buy the wrong kind you can end up with poor quality that smells really bad. This brand smells great, arrives in a nice sealed package, and lasts a really long time.

Some incense gives me a headache but the aroma of this frankincense is celestial and it lasts for a long time. A little goes a long way. I've been burning it whole but I'm going to try suggestions by some other reviewers of crushing it to see how that works. I'm very happy with the frankincense and I will order more when I run out.

for the first time, I order this product about 2 years ago and it was not available for while till finally got available and I order again everything is fine but the size of the pack means I paid for half of the wight I paid before got material

I was surprised to find Frankincense on Amazon, and bought this on a whim. It arrived today and I'm very impressed. It burns nicely and lets off a lovely smell. One chunk is enough to fill my home with the scent. The item is nicely packaged and will last a while. I'll definitely purchase this again when I do run out.

This reminds me of church on a Sunday when I was a child.I've always loved the smell of this scent, exotic is what I can best use to describe it, peaceful even.Burns well and last a long time. I tented a strip of folded up foil over a tealight and dropped a small piece in. That way I was able to higher or lower it by pushing down on it with a toothpick over the flame to get just the right amount of smoke without burning.Package arrived super fast. Would definitely buy from vendor again.

Hi, this is my first purchase and my first impression is good, the smell is nice, good value for the money. I bought it for cosmetic purpose. Hopefully it works.

I'm not sure what to compare it to, as I never really burnt frankincense before. But I was not expecting my apartment to FILL with smoke. Cracked open a window. Smells awesome!

Burning this stuff on coals feels meditative and ceremonial and smells "special" to me, good quality product and my home is a better place for it.
