Finally!
I have always chewed gum. That is why at 60 years old I don't have a double chin. And I chew a lot of gum at one time, so sugar-free, doesn't work for me, as it upsets my stomach, if you know what I mean. It is very hard to find gum made with real sugar. In fact, the only other major one I can think of is Fruit Stripe. They aren't making the Clark's Clove, Beeman's, Teaberry and Black Jack anymore. It has a good flavor. I never chewed Doublemint before, so I can't compare that part of it. The flavor lasts about as long as any other gum. I chew 1 pack at a time (12 sticks), and I chew it for almost 11-12 hours, depending. And after all that time, when I drink water, I can still feel the coolness on my throat from the mint in the gum. They need to start selling this in more stores; because that fake sugar they use in other gums is not good stuff. If you want to chew some real gum- you'll be happy with this.

Great Alternative to Artificially Sweetened Doublemint
This has been a life saver for me - chewing gum helps to relieve some of my allergy symptoms, so I chew gum frequently.Doublemint was my go-to gum before they added Aspertame, which I'm a bit reactive/allergic to, so I was really disappointed when I was no longer able to find naturally sweetened Doublemint - I was stuck chewing old-school pink bubble gum, which I hate.Found Perfectly Sweet while I was searching for an alternative, and I haven't looked back. Some reviews mention a bitter taste, and I have experienced it occassionally - not sure if it is due to something I ate or drank earlier, but the bitter taste doesn't last very long for me.

Sorry, I don't like it too much. >>>> UPDATE 7/22/18: I got used to it and now I like it.
I gave this 3 stars because it is Wrigley's and they are trying to do a natural gum, so that is great and appreciative for their efforts. I have had regular Wrigley's stick gum in the past. But I haven't chewed gum in many years. This is the first non-artificial gum I bought to chew some gum again, here and there.Pro ~ Instant mint flavor that does freshen your brush instantly; just chew quickly and toss...Con ~ ...but then make sure to spit it out about 30 seconds later just before the full flavor goes away. I already had about five pieces over the week since I got this so I can make an accurate conclusion. But I don't like it overall if it stays in your mouth the moment the flavor runs out. This gum isn't meant to be used for just chewing and for something to do. It is only for instant fresh breath. The gum texture is unusual and it isn't for me. It doesn't hold its shape in your mouth as a chew gum like traditional gum. Can't exactly describe it. But that isn't just it. I didn't expect this to occur. There is a gritty feeling to my teeth afterwards the times I over chewed this gum. Then I am thinking... is that the sugar adhering to my teeth? Not sure.I will try Wrigley's natural gum again only when they have tried to improve it and the package says "new and improved flavor" so I know that is what happened.UPDATE 7/22/18: Because I didn't want to waste the pack I bought, I ended up getting used to this gum. I like the flavor a lot, but I don't keep it in my mouth when the flavor begins to run out. It is great to have the instant fresh breath. I'm not sure if any sugar is adhering to my teeth or not, but I brush well anyways. I am getting this again. I increased my rating by one more star.

NO ARTIFICIAL SWEETENER!
Just sweet gum! The other Doublemint gum has artificial sweeteners in it and really just not taste good after the initial sugar is gone. This gum, with real sugar is great!! The flavor fades a little faster but I don't get that flavor from this gum that I really dislike. It is kind of hard to find this one in stores so I will keep ordering it to ensure I always have gum I truly enjoy and so do my grandkids, I always has gum for them!

Wanted to avoid the use of artificial sweeteners
Found this gum disappointing in that it does not retain the doublemint flavor. In fact the lack of flavor is present when first used. Hopefully this can be corrected as I try to avoid all artificial sweeteners and was pleased when I learned this product was available.

The best!
When I was a kid, my mom always had a pack of doublemint gum in her purse. We chewed it together often and I chewed all of the other varieties of wrigley's gum too. Then they started using artificial sweeteners, and I didn't like them anymore. What a wonderful thing to have this delicious gum back again! It has a smooth and fresh mouth feel and is refreshing and just a joy to chew. Thank you, Wrigley's!

Not your childhood doublemint
If you expect this to be like the pre 2003 Doublemint gum that used no artificial sweeteners you will be disappointed. The texture is rubbery, there is not a lot of mint flavor and, as others have observed, there is a bitter aftertaste. The label says it is made in France for the Wm. Wrigley, Jr. Company (which is now owned by Mars). The EU has denied copyright to the name Doublemint, but if this is made for Wrigley that shouldn’t matter. If the Wrigley Company approved the formula they don’t seem to be concerned to achieve the flavor they produced in the past. The listed ingredients are sugar, gum base, natural flavors, glycerol, soy lecithin and tocopherals.I wondered about all those 5 star ratings and went back an had a look. None of those reviews comment on the bitterness after chewing it for several minutes so I am wondering if those of us giving it low ratings got the same product. Maybe it is just different taste buds.

leaves an awful aftertaste
Was on my first pack of this gum. It starts out fine, but after about 10-15 minutes of chewing, it leaves an awful aftertaste. I thought at first it was something else I ate or drank around the time of chewing gum, but I noticed I kept tasting the same taste after chewing this gum. Gave the rest of the packs away. No thanks.
