Disappointing
I was so pleased with Just For Redhead's Mascara that I just knew the lipstick would be great too. Alas it is a disappointment on a couple of levels. First off, some of the colors were "sweating" and gooey when it arrived, due to heat I suppose. The "lipstick" itself, (unless it's thickly applied which makes it waxy) has more of a translucent color saturation like a lip balm. It's label says "lipstick" not lip balm. And while the colors are pretty in the container, they are too faint on my lips. The other issue is the packaging. It is advertised as "convenient for travel", but it couldn't be less convenient. The lip "brush" isn't a brush at all, it is a two ended sponge applicator the size of those that come with eye shadow which fits easi.ly in the eyeshadow case. This spongy thing is loose. The carousal has 5 colors and has no handy storage for the applicator, which means any applicator will have to be stored separately in a makeup bag or the gooey lipstick will be all over everything. It will also have to be repeatedly washed even if you only use two colors. I suppose most people will just use their finger to apply it, but if you are on the go with no place to wash your hands that's problematic too. At $25.99 + tax I would have thought they would have worked out a more user friendly packaging format. It took about 10 days to get here, and arrived in an undamaged envelope, but as I mentioned the colors were gooey when I opened it but it is Florida and has probably been in the mail truck heating up all day. I really wanted to love this as much as the mascara but I can't.

Hardly shows color.
This product is overpriced. The colors look nice in the container but hardly noticeable on my lips. For the price it should at least include a small brush.

Not Great
The lipstick carousel was a disappointment. The colors are ok, but the formula dries my lips out and has no staying power. Not worth the cost to me.However, since I also bought the eyebrow pencil thought I'd mention that - I LOVE IT!!! I would give the brow pencil 10 stars if I could! The color is perfect!!! It's a very soft formula and can get a bit cakey sometimes when I apply it, but probably because my make-up is kept in a bathroom drawer and I apply after my hot shower so it warms up. Either way, will definitely keep the brow pencil in my kit and plan on trying other products. Make-up for redheads is hard to find so definitely appreciate this company!

It Works for Me
I agree with other reviewers that the shades are very light on the lips. I prefer this, however, as I like to play up my eyes. I find the formula long lasting and because it is so light, it doesn't appear to "fade" as quickly. As someone else said, it's definitely more balmy than lipsticky. I am very pale with yellow undertones and copper hair, and all of the colors are flattering on me. I love most of the JFR lipsticks and find them high quality.

Don’t waste your money
This lipstick pallet is advertised for redheads. It should add pigment to our colorless lips. This is no more than a pallet of lip moisturizer. No color. The colors do not show up. I would never buy this again.

Not what you think it is
It's oily and almost no color on any color. A few have what looks to be shimmery goldfish look. Looks aweful. I'm redish/blond hair, more red, have the correct skin tone. You have to gob it on, then your lips are covered in this, gross tasting goo. Don't waste your money. I did that for you

Moist
Very good colors. You can add or subtract as you desire. It is a cream, not a powder.

Not worth the price
Nope. No pigment, tastes weird and just plain cheaply made. I like this brand's mascaras and the eye shadow isn't bad. But this lippy wheel is a major miss and the brand should feel bad for selling it for this price. Returned!
