Beautiful moss. Not so beautiful snails.
Arrived in good shape.Quite green, a little flat but perked up after a day in the tank. Actually ended up with two moss pads! Was super thrilled. Added them to a tank I'm setting up. Took a peek at my tank this morning--SNAILS! There are snails in my tank! As all other plants have been guaranteed to come from snail free environments, this has to be the culprit. Now I have to deal with a snail infestation before they start devouring my plants.PLEASE leave a warning that these things might come with snails/snail eggs. I would have bought my moss elsewhere, or taken other steps to prevent an infestation.

Love this stuff!
I happened to order this item via Wal-Mart, as well as Amazon, and both of them were shipped from the same individual/company. The one I received from the WM order was really nice, lush and green, although a great deal shorter than that which is pictured. The second one, arrived pretty good, with the exception of a brownish/yellow spot in the middle. After a thorough and gentle rinse, I placed them in my tank 11/19/18 and it fluffed up nicely. I had cut one mat into jagged halves for a more natural look around my aquascape. I "hid" the yellowish section of the one mat with a different plant. This moss was an instant hit with my shrimp and CP danios, and kicked the fish into full spawning mode. It is now 12/17/18, just short of a month, and both orders of moss are already triple, if not four times, the height! The yellowish spot on the one mat has filled in nice and green. I'd have to say it is my favorite "plant" in the tank, for its ease of placement, care and instant natural look. I'm very happy with both of my purchases.

Pretty Good.
The good:The moss was nicely packed. Still green and damp even when it was pretty warm out. Fast shipping and arrived much earlier than expected. My shrimps loves it for hiding and graze on any dying moss. The neutral:The moss grew a pretty decent amount just after 2 weeks in my small shrimp tank, even though it's said to be a very slow grower. It is not as dense as I hoped. However, I do not mind. The bad:First, the reason I'm giving this product a 4 stars instead of 5 is because about 1/8 of the mesh is missing moss that never fully grows in. Secondly, I found an unwelcome snail in my tank that I know wasn't there before I put the moss in.After seeing so many negative reviews I was a bit wary of buying this moss. But I know that not all tanks are the same and I have better luck growing moss than leafy plants in my tank anyways. So I gave it a shot and it was pretty good.

Low-high light, water parameters don't matter. All green, no brown spots, best aquarium plant
Green, fast growing, and no browning of old growth. Quarantine for 1 month to detect/control snails. But if you're impatient and get snails in your aquarium, it's not the end of the world. Initially I found 1 per day, now I'm down to 1 per week. Crush them with tweezers, and their gone. Easy to control snail population and quality of plants more than makes up for snail issue. These plants require minimum light, are fast growing and create a moss wall in my aquarium quickly. I've wasted so much money and effort experimenting with plants slow growing, browning plants. I wish I had planted Flame Moss a long time ago. Don't mess with lIght, fertilizer, CO2 anymore - it's healthy, green and grows regardless of conditions. The seller sent two moss pads, in perfect condition, quarantined for 3 weeks with no snails. Very happy!Quarintine for at least 4 weeks. I did get snails in my aquarium when installing 3 weeks after receipt. I find one or two a day, remove them, it doesn't seem to be a big issue. The plants are fantastic - healthy, green, growing very quickly for a "slow growing" plant.

I'd still recommend supporting your local fish store
I'm going to buck the trend of negative reviews here. I bought this several months ago for my 25-gallon cube tank. Shipping took so long I actually forgot it was coming, but when it arrived it was healthy and ready to drop in the tank.Three months later this thing is huge, maybe 8 inches cubed. The guppies in my tank have turned it into a nursery for fry and their population has grown accordingly. Even when my other plants are struggling this moss keeps growing. No snails or other stow-aways either.I'd still recommend supporting your local fish store, but for an online purchase this worked out fine.

Not the best but not bad
Arrived and I wasn't so sure. Received a piece of thick mesh with very short moss. About 3/4 was green ish, and it started falling apart as soon as I took it from the bag. I rushed it to the tank and dropped it in. It's been over a month now, and starting to finally take off. I am happy with how it's going, but still not quite what I was expecting, judging off the image provided.

Great!
I ordered one of these little guys and got two 🤓! I’m super excited The moss looks very healthy I can see some of the metal wiring underneath and on the sides however I know it will grow over that can’t wait to see how fast it grows. I added some fishing line to tie it down to make sure that it stays put which I highly recommend to do with live plants thank you very much!
