Bought it to use on trip to Vietnam and Cambodia knowing it would be hot and humid with temperatures reaching 100 degrees. Didn't expect too much but at the price I got it for, there was almost no risk to trying it. Glad I did because it exceeded my expectations in terms of quality, light weight and smooth finish of the fabric, and how effective it was keeping me cool and almost sweat free by being so breathable. It's paid for itself already. Now I wear it on hot and humid days while walking outside or running errands. Normally I just handwash,wring it, and hang to dry. Look, it's Chinese made but I'll say it's because there can be no American made shirt of similar quality because basically no American will work in a garment factory for low wages. That's a fact that not going to change no matter how much tariff is slapped on foreign products. Hey, I support some tariffs on foreign goods but it should be selective and prioritized for high value items, not be indiscriminate.

I have several of these. I usually get larger shirts, but found the sleeves are long with these. I discovered though, that I prefer the looser fit of large and the longer sleeves simply help cover your hands as additional sun protection.The only downside, is that the emblem and collar label rub off after a short while.
