Broke after 2 months
No way to fix it, gave it to a local repairman. Don’t know the cause, just stopped opening. Disappointed

Nice trash can
Really like the motion activated lid. I like the black stainless steel finish, nice looking and doesn't show fingerprints. Perfect kitchen trash can.

Great Trash Can
To start with, this trash can is super cute, and it works perfectly. No touching the can when your hands are dirty from food. I am using it for food, and food soiled paper etc. I purchased the biodegradable 3 gal trash bags, they fit perfectly in the can (a California requirement)! So since we Californians are required to sort all our trash, this can is perfect for that requirement, and it looks nice in my kitchen.
