Nice mouthpiece
I have been looking for a quality one piece style snorkel and this one fits the bill. The software plastic is also nice on the mouthpiece.

Great
Light, bendable (good for scuba), comfortable, and easy attachment to a mask.

It's ok
I don't wanna knock it too bad as it would work fine as a snorkel. The clip is mediocre. The foldability is good however it really holds the folded shape for a while. I tested overnight and it came back to shape but could see kinda of where it was bent. I don't know how it would be if stored folded up longer. Otherwise it seems like a good regular snorkel I just needed one to fold

Great classic snorkel for scuba or freediving
I liked this snorkel so much I bought a second one when my first one broke from frequent use. Simple is the best in my opinion for freediving and scuba diving. It's easy to clear, store and durable. I usually replace the clip with a snorkel keeper band as the clip can fall off of my mask easily. I use mine weekly. The first one lasted for 3 years until someone bit a piece of the mouth piece off in the inside (not a defect of the product.)

Excellent Snorkel but miss the see-through mouthpiece piece on previous versions
I'm a long time diver and have always preferred a simple "J" snorkel vs. "no flood" snorkels. I've dove this particular "J" snorkel for many years (until recently branded in Scubapro dive shops as "SnorkelPro" vs "Scubapro") and have 4 or 5 that I use to help train new snorkelers. The last time I bought this style snorkel the mouthpiece itself was clear. I find that to be an advantage since you can clearly see any water remaining in that mouthpiece after trying to clear it. You can hold it up to a student to show them how much water they didn't expel. They can then independently work on their technique and self-check the residual water in their mouthpiece to see if they've achieved a better, first-blow "clear".I just bought a new one from this page a few weeks ago and was disappointed to see that the mouthpiece is now completely opaque; eliminating the ability for an objective view on how much water remains in the snorkel. I asked a local Scubapro tech why this change was made and he said it was his understanding that this was done for esthetics. Apparently there were some complaints that the clear mouthpieces often turn a bit brown-tinted - just as with most such transparent plastics in masks - if they're left in full sun too often and for too long. As you can see from the years-old one on the left in the attached picture, it's hardly a big deal. I'm not a fan of sacrificing function for esthetics. In any case I've never seen any experienced diver who was worried about how pristine their gear looked on the boat or the dock.Other than that change, I still like this snorkel and will continue to buy it. It's simple, small, holds up well, breathes well, has no "no flood" valve to screw up or add effort to clearing the tube, and is clean of unnecessary obstructions that can hang up on other gear.
