Is there a model for wider tape?

Not that I’m aware of / I haven’t opened mine yet but I believe if adjusts when you open it for replacements

will it securely hole the 1" width tape?

Hello, we would recommend only using it with the 1.41" Painter's Tapes. If you use a 1" roll of tape it will be loose in the dispenser making it difficult to use and difficult to create a straight line.
