Threads are loose. It takes a lot of Teflon tape and pipe dope.

I needed a couple of these for a project on a deep freeze. They're well machined and appear to be good quality stainless steel. I haven't fit them permanently with sealant yet but they dry fit well and there are no burrs or defects anywhere. They have a nice finish on them as well. Decent pieces, would recommend.

After checking several local hardware stores and not finding stainless steel adapters, I found this one on Amazon. I used it to attach a bazooka tube to the bulkhead on my mash tun. It does the trick.

Standard female 1/2"NTP thread at both ends, thus requiring thread seal tape. Without a machined "flat" on OD, one must use a pipe wrench and care not to scratch finish. Blends with brushed nickel finish well.

Worked well in a tight location. Good quality.

I see a lot of reviews of confused people. To me its clear they don't know how to measure NPT fittings, its especially embarrassing if you're a plumber. For me, I have an electric element, I measure the third set of male threads on the element (because its tapered) which comes out to about 1-1/4". Take that measurement and take off 1/4" and you have 1" left over, 1" is the FPT (female pipe thread) that should be bought. Its not rocket science people. My pieces fit just as they should.
