Purchased this clock for a retiring supervisor. It is elegant and beautiful to watch while the pendulum is spinning. The woodgrain is very beautiful and has a nice feel to it. I would purchase again.

I love this pendulum clock! Didn't realize at first that it took 2 AAA batteries and that I needed to pull the drawer out for the second one, but after reading the instructions, I figured it out. It's beautiful!

I'm not sure who posted the other reviews for this clock, but they are living proof that you can't always trust what you read. I bought this clock based on the glowing reviews it had received on Amazon and was excited that it actually arrived a day early. However, I was unpleasantly surprised when I opened the box. Although the wood is pretty enough, the "guts" of the clock itself are nothing more than tacky cheap plastic painted to look like metal, and the cover for the battery box was missing, as was the connection to the positive terminal of the battery! I've already packed up this piece of junk and I'm sending it back tomorrow. This is most definitely a case of "let the buyer beware!"

Not quite Junk but really cheaply made. The guts are chromed plastic with a 'mirrored' piece of cardboard for the back. The 'pendulum' wasn't inserted correctly and leaned to one side. The directions in the box are for a completely different clock. I gave it two stars because it worked after I fixed it and doesn't look bad from a distance but I'm really sorry I bought it.

Beautiful little clock! With the movement, I can even sit and watch time tick by. I retired in August and have time to watch time now. If it just had chimes, it would be perfect!

The clock and what is holding the clock up is made of a light weight plastic. The photo makes the clock look more substantial then it really is and with a $50+ price tag I thought it would be a little nicer. I think $35 would be a more realistic price for the quality of this peace.

Loved the color of wood, the way it moves and the hands on the clock.. Love the detail and the looks of the clock in general..

Clock looks great...it was a present for Xmas so we haven’t seen it in use yet.
