This handmade stoneware wine chiller is hand-carved with a beautiful grape cluster design that circles the vessel. The carved design is filled with multiple glazes and the surface wiped to expose the clay surface surrounding the carving. This wine chiller is 8"h x 6"w x 6"d (20.3 cm x 15.2 cm x 15.2 cm). The interior width at the base is 3.75" (9.5 cm). The plate is 1.5" h x 5.25" in diameter (3.3 cm x 13.3 cm). Use it to keep your wine at a comfortable drinking temperature in style. It can be used to chill white wine but it also works well for keeping red wine from getting too warm when serving outside in warm weather. The inside width is sufficiently large to accommodate various styles of 750 ml wine bottles including champagne bottles along with some cold water and/or ice when needed. The wine chiller comes with a matching small plate to catch any moisture that forms on the wine chiller. Instructions for use with white and red wines are included.
