The Best Detailed Review
The media could not be loaded. SummaryGreat board, and great quality, with smooth ride.Just A Tip!I seen other reviewers mention the board being too “loose“. They just don’t understand what a longboard is; a longboard is suppose to mimic the feel of surfing a wave. When you are in a straight line and moving side to side, it mimics the feel of surfing a wave. Don’t get me wrong though you still have full control of the board. I wouldn’t tighten The trucks of this board as it’s pretty stiff already compared to other longboards I have tried. If you want something more tighter than how the board is already, I’d suggest to just buy a skateboard because you are defeating the purpose of the longboard.P.SCheck the video I posted with the review, I’m riding pretty straight and Not wobbly at all unless you want to move side to side yourself.**Full Review**DECKI, for one, have a thing for beautifully crafted longboards that are amazing for cruising, carving and transportation. It is clearly, made out of high quality bamboo wood. But that is not all, the bamboo in the deck is carefully embedded with layers of Canadian maple for a smooth ride. In addition to this, the deck has durable heat transferred graphics and a clear grip tape which literally improves the grip of the longboard.WHEELSAnother very strong point about the White wave bamboo longboard is the high-quality wheels which makes it one of the best longboards in town. The wheels measure 70 mm x 50 mm in diameter and durometer and are made from high rebound urethane. All of these impressive features of the wheels make them not only fast on the pavements and the roads but also very durable. Durability is definitely an important factor to play on when checking out the wheels for your longboards and skateboards. So if you are looking for a fast longboard ride then white wave bamboo longboards is the way to go. Don’t get this wrong though at certain speeds if you hit a rock or a branch in the wrong way you could still fall off.BEARINGSI am also impressed by their bearings, which are Hellion 9 and come with built-in spacers. Now, would you like at that!BUSHINGS AND TRUCKSIt seems to me as though everything about this longboard is pretty much perfect. The bushings and trucks of the White Wave longboards are no disappointment, trust me. The aluminum trucks are 180 mm (7 inches) which are not excellent functionally but have a matte finish that looks really sleek and gives the white wave longboard a very premium and classy feel. The bushings are also a winner; they are ultra-high rebound bushings which help in making this bamboo longboard just the perfect ride.

White Wave's Longboard is a True Warrior!!!
This board is great! I am an older dude who used to skate as a kid and thought to take it up again recently. Wasn't sure if I'd keep at it (or if I could even skate again after over 30 years) so I didn't want to spend too much $$$ but was still hoping for a quality board. Even as a youngster I was an average skateboarder at best...Previous to the White Wave I bought a Retrospec brand board but almost immediately and after a quick inspection decided that it had a pretty obvious mass-produced and a poor quality feel to it. Keeping the plastic wrapping on, I stood on it inside my house and it bowed so much that it seemed unsafe for an adult male (I am 6' and 185lbs). Upon reading the reviews again, but more closely, I found that Retrospec boards had many incidents of breaking in two while being ridden! I returned it, needless to say.For a little more money I went for the "Warrior" by White Wave in AZ. This time upon my initial inspection when it arrived, I was very pleasantly surprised and actually blown away, TBH. This is one beautiful board and made of quality Canadian Maple and bamboo. On its own it would make for a nice showpiece for your home! The Warrior has drop-through trucks and drop down deck which makes for an amazingly smooth, low-effort, and comfortable ride. I'm not exaggerating to say that it's almost like cruising on air, and all the while the board feeling strong and sturdy. I can go up/down driveway car openings, pebbles, and small debris with little to no problem. I bottomed-out going over a speed bump but it's only because of the low-profile setup of this particular model. Now I just maneuver around speed bumps or do a small hop/rise off the board if going over them now.Surprisingly, and thanks to my satisfaction with The Warrior, I did continue have fun skating and soon afterward bought White Wave's "Shocker" (but this time directly via their website). I am similarly very happy with my second WW board and might even be in the market for another since they offer so many variations of skateboards. In the end, I'm very happy with White Wave products and would recommend to any skater at any level. As a mom 'n' pop business, I have had great customer service communication with WW as well when I had questions."GO Skateboarding"! (see my photos, lol)

Excellent purchase for beginners.
For clarity, I selected the pintail version for myself, and I have to say, I'm impressed. The board itself has a lot of give, which is good, but for this particular board I wouldn't recommend buying if you weigh anything above 200 lbs, I'm just on the cusp and I experience a pleasant amount of give, but it is a thin board. Has a beautiful finish, no cracks or separation in the wood, so excellent quality there.Tires are surprisingly durable while maintaining a very soft and smooth profile, I was really surprised with this given the price of the board and the rough roads I have at my disposal, makes for a very smooth ride, and also made the different wheels I ordered unnecessary.Bearings aren't very nice, come with affixed spacers but aren't terribly fast and don't roll for a remarkable amount of distance. They do just fine for beginners though I'd recommend buying something like Bones or Yellow jacket bearings along with a spacer pack and oil.Trucks are fine, generally unremarkable but carve very nice. HOWEVER, I highly recommend tightening the bolts quite a bit fresh out of the box, it was a bit too easy to turn fresh out of the box and i promptly touched my wheel and threw myself off the board. But to summarize, This is an excellent board for the price. Highly recommended for someone looking to get into longboarding, or even as just a base board to build upon with new parts.
