Could this work for picking strawberries on the ground? I have a bad back and can't lean over.

I don’t think it will work with picking strawberries on the ground. Strawberry is too delicate and will easily getting bruises by this picker.

Can I buy the just the bag?

I don't know if you can buy just the bag. This bag is NOT removable from frame. I find the frame is helpful to help pull the fruit gently from stems. Although sometimes difficult to get into snug places.

Will this fit fiskars stik pruner model 92406935k ?

Unknown, the fruit picker clamps on an extendable pole, I had to put a small shim in there to use it and it worked well.

will this fit on a 1 inch dia pole

it will, i don't use the Fiskars pole as I have a regular extension pole and it just clamps to the pole with a thumbscrew. take a look at the photos and you will see the clamp. 1 insh should be no problem.
