Best Dog Frisbee on the Market
This is the Best Dog Frisbee on the Market. Its Safe for your dogs teeth and gums. Flies long and straight with little effort in throwing and can fold up and be stuffed in your pocket for the walk home. Its ignorance about the proper use of a training toy with dogs that has others writing anything less then a 5 star review for this product. If who have written a negative review about this products durability I submit this question for you. In how many dog frisbee competitions do you see multiple dogs pulling and playing tug of war with the same frisbee? In how many dog frisbee competitions do you see the owner or trainer leave the dog with the frisbee to chew on unattended? That is correct not a single one. This product has a very specific use. Its for you to work with your dog. Its for training purposes. This is not a chew toy. This is not something you leave with your dog. This is not something you use amongst multiple dogs where they will forget they are working with you and seek rather to play with one another in a tug of war. This is a training tool and when used properly one can expect lots of use.I've bred and train German Shorthaired Pointers with this frisbee. Its an exceptional tool for working with them and giving them an outlet to release their energy. I would never for a moment leave this frisbee with my dog as a chew toy and expect it not to be torn to pieces. If you use this frisbee in such a manner yes do expect it to be destroyed very quickly and to have to purchase another. This is noir a chew toy. My dogs can shred a lacrosse ball or anything for that matter in a couple minutes when left unattended with it. If you use this frisbee with your dog it that manner it will be your fault that it is destroyed, not the dogs, and it will not be due to the quality of materials or design of the product for in that nature this product is flawless.Every single trainer, book or video would tell you not to leave training toys unattended with your dog. Follow this simple guideline and you will have long use. This is not a chew toy its a frisbee to train retrieving dogs with.

New extreme black frisbee changes
I wish they didn’t change the build of the black extreme flyer. I prefer the softer, more flexible black frisbee that I have bought multiples of in the past. It flys better & farther and isn’t so hard on my dogs teeth. They already had this version of frisbee offered with the red. This new extreme black frisbee is exactly the same as the red (which I/my dog was not a fan of).The thickness and bulkiness of the newly remodeled black extreme is just not as good and my dog is too picky for anything other than the older black extreme frisbee version.

This is a flying disk, not a chew toy folks!
I just purchased a second one of these after having one for two years. The prior one was lost in the woods, but held up fine over a couple of years of playing and hiking. My dog loved it so much that he would carry it in his mouth for miles as we hiked. (Until he dropped it somewhere and we couldn't find it.)I don't think this is designed to be a chew toy. It's a flying disk that dogs will love to catch and fetch because of how soft it is. It's not the best flyer for sure; I'm mean it's all floppy and benefits from a good spin. But, if you have a "frisbee dog" like I do, it's great because you don't have to worry about a hard knock against your dog's teeth. We use it all winter long in the freezing weather - try that with a hard plastic disk! So, if you are looking for something for your dog to tear into - or play tug O' war with - look elsewhere. This isn't light weight. It's not chew proof. But unless you're treating it very poorly, it will last for year.Lastly, does this thing smell strongly of rubber? Particularly when it's new? Absolutely. Who cares? That odor will diminish - and my dog uses the smell to find it in tall grass.Kong makes other tougher and thicker disks - if you need one that is tougher, check out the red one.

Bring back the old flyer in flat packaging and you'll have a winner and best frisbee for air around
This frisbee received one star due to the packaging. It came folded in half and there was no way to get the crease out. So it flew wonky. Not like the OG which is unfortunate bc this is an AMAZING flyer. I wish they would bring it back and with flat packaging so there the crease does not remain. Other than that is the best flyer out there on the market and sails well and stays aloft even on non windy days. My first flyer held up through two labs for multiple years. But my labs are not chewers and this is NOT a chew toy. Yes they get excited and shake it to death but I teach them this is one item they cannot chew and destroy. Plus I think they enjoy it so much my dogs understood. The old flyer flew so well and wore the fur kids out. The new one is like the Spruce Goose. A major thud that does not fly well or far.
